Super Bowl!!!11!!!!
another super bowl tonight!!!
Always a huge game. Hoping the Hoosiers can hit 19 3's tonight.
i'm expecting a hoosier win, just hoping the boilers keep it close.
Crean has a way of losing big games. They are tough at home this year though.
Purdue did a great job defensively of not letting Indiana set anything up around the arc their last game. Having Perea back down low could change that to some degree, but he is more of a big body than a real offensive threat. It will be interesting to see how they free up their shooters and/or if they can. I think it will be closer than most expect.

Hoosiers are only 4.5 favorites, IIRC Purdue was 7.5 point favorites at their place earlier this season.

I would be way more surprised by a win by a big margin by the Hoosiers than if they outright lost.

Monstrous win for Purdue. Really monstrous.

Terps failed to put a team away again when they got up 11 in the first half, but managed to finish strong down the stretch. Trimble was incredible. Wiley and Nickens seem to have hit the freshman wall a bit.

Just finished up IU game. Typical game under Crean, lose big games. Comical watching Hoosiers try and guard the big men tonight, they were a foot shorter.

I think you have to call Purdue the favorite at this point.
For what?
Most Boilermakerish.
Seems fair
Purdue played wisco very tough on the road before they started to figure things out. Too bad wisco doesn't have to come to WL. Love to matchup with you guys in the BTT.
Didn't you want Painter fired like a month ago? ;)

They will be a tough out, no denying it. I was just trying to figure out what they are the favorite for. Regular season champs? B1G tourney champs? Best team in Indiana? Arguments could be made they aren't the favorite for all 3

Rutgers is next level bad. Their guys were missing shots by 3 feet and airballing lay-ups tonight. That is all.

The way MD has been playing you could definitely argue that Purdue is the 2nd best team in the conference right now.

If they can go 2-2 down the stretch (RU, @OSU, @MSU, IL) that would be 12-6 which is about the opposite of what everyone expected after their blah non conference performance. They have really figured out their defense. Have only allowed 70 pts once in conference and that was in OT at Penn St. If they can start hitting some threes (2-18 last night) they will be a very tough out in March.

There went Indiana's shot at getting a 4th or 5th seed. Now watch them get an 8-9th seed paired up against Kentucky in round 2.

BTW, this sheet was passed out to iu fans last night at the game. Note the point naming Isaac Haas's mom and sister's names. Presumably so they could taunt him/them.

His sister is special needs

Nice job loosiers.

Also I have watched this about 500 times today.

I don't know what's going on in this M/OSU game. But I'm just going to enjoy it until the bubble bursts (probably in about 2 minutes).

Michigan's biggest win of the season, but about three weeks too late. I doubt they can even squeak into the NIT at this point.

kind of dumb to have Spike throwing in the ball

ETA: I have no idea why the gave the ball back to Michigan.

Tough gutsy win tonight against Illinois. Go GREEN

Minny up next. Total trap game. Hope the bigs show up more than they did tonight.

ETA: My god the B1G Network is an abomination. Not the first time this season that they have f-Ed up the post game interview audio. Public access level.

Surprised Uh and rich aren't in here double HJing themselves yet ;)

I kid, I kid. Big win for Maryland. I didn't get to see the whole game but looking at the stats, bucky couldn't shoot in the first half. They probably just lost themselves a 1 seed unless something crazy happens.

Glll MD fans. You guys had a helluva crowd tonight (though I'm a little :oldunsure: about the storming of the court)

OK, the court-storming... Probably a bit uncalled for. At least it was a slow motion court storming, so no real danger of anyone getting injured, I suppose.

Dez. Wow. Melo. Wow. The defense was incredible. Cekovsky played his best game of the year, by far. Maryland has always had a way of getting up for highly ranked teams at home. Wisconsin is still an incredible team; final four caliber, in my opinion.

I haven't seen much of Traevon Jackson. Is he coming back? Normally, I'd think that him coming back could disrupt the flow of the team's offense, but Bo is such a good coach that I assume he'll make it work.

They need him back bad as the Badgers have absolutely no bench right now. I'm not sure what happened to Duje but he's really regressed his senior year.

TJ said he would be back by the game on Saturday against MSU but he hasn't been cleared by doctors yet. And for as well as Koenig has played, he gets into chucker mode. TJ would have recognized the poor shooting in the first half and tried to drive to create better opportunities, something Koenig isn't very good at right now.

If/when he comes back, I guess the issue could be how long it takes him to get back to normal. If he really comes back this weekend, maybe he'll be 100% by the B1G tourney?

For example, Dez Wells looks great now, but for a few weeks after he came back from the wrist injury, you could tell he wasn't right.

He was terrible tonight.

Rebounds bouncing off his hands...terrible defense.

My son kept saying "13 shouldn't shoot the ball dad".

I agree they have their moments, but I do think additional coverage like what they show on the The Journey can be cool sometimes.

Yea, I'm talking more about he live game broadcast. Jimmy Jackson does well on there, when he's on, but other than that, it's the pits. That team the other night in Champaign was horrendous.

I do agree that The Journey program is fairly well done.

I think people either loved him or hated him, but I liked it better when Gus Johnson was in the rotation.
