Biggest busts after 3 weeks ? (1 Viewer)

A guy getting injured doesn't make him a bust. Just bad luck for his owner.
If said guy is Mike Vick and you knew his propensity to get hurt from all of his scrambling he does, and the hits he took in preseason behind a shaky line, then yes, Mike Vick is a bust.Jamaal Charles. Discounting injury he wasn't getting it done anyways. You could see Chiefs' struggles coming a mile away.there was no way he was coming close to last years numbers.

Without a doubt Dallas Clark is one of the biggest busts out there, relative to his ADP.
First of all Vick isn't a bust just because of his propensity to get hurt. He hasn't even been hurt because of scrambling anyways. Your'e saying Charles wasn't getting it done after one game he played? Again, not a "Bust". Dallas Clark didn't have Peyton, thats a huge reason for his lack of production.

I think we need to define "BUST". For me, it is when a player SIGNIFICANTLY under performs his draft position, without taking injuries (that could mean to his o line, qb, or himself) into play.

So this year? Still too early to call people busts, but I would say leading candidates are Dwill, Greene, Mendy, CJ, Tampa Mike, Ocho, Harvin, Moreno, Evans.
yeah, Evans' lack of production has nothing to do with injury

Ya a lot of his do. But 0 catches (4 targets) week 1, and 2 for 45 game 2 weren't overly impressive for someone people were drafting so high and calling a steal

I guess I'm a bit surprised to find Tampa Mike and Mendy on these lists.

Tampa Mike had 50+ a TD week 1, had a TD called back by a Benn illegal shift week 2, and led all Tampa receivers this week with 5/43. I think his lack of numbers have more to do with a regression by Freeman than anything else. While he hasn't been very good so far, I think Williams is pretty far from the biggest bust list.

As for Mendy, look at who they've played. Baltimore, Seattle and Indy are allowing 3.5, 3.1, and 3.3 yards per rush respectively so far this year. There will be much greater cause for concern if he doesn't come up big vs HOU and their 4.8 YPR this week.

I don't think you can call ochostinko a bust because he shouldn't have been drafted in the first place. Anyone who took him was purely gambling and if you did take him it should have been a late round flyer that you can't really consider to be a bust anyways.

Foster and CJ have been busts so far. Top 5 picks that have done nothing. That is a bust.

Felix Jones may not be a bust because many folks avoided him due to his history and he was not drafted in the first round. However, there was a lot of preseason hype about this being his breakout season. Unless things change quickly, Jones will be history next season in FF and in Dallas.

I drafted Felix Jones in the 2nd round. He's been an anchor and I should have known better. Never again. I couldnt have imagined the lack of production from many of the top RB's.

I don't care how much talent Mike Williams has, if your QB is a bust, you're going to be a bust as well. I am very concerned about Freeman.I am still concerned with Mendenhall, because the PIT OL looks horrible run blocking. I think it is a function of the playcalling. If you use Mendenhall more in the passing game, it may open up more holes for Mendenhall. When you have Mike Wallace and his blazing speed outside, teams shouldn't be able to put 8 in the box against PIT.
