Biggest sleeper in the 2022 NFL draft (1 Viewer)

Skyy Moore-WR(W.Michigan) In a year where the 1st Rd Wide receivers are being needled and picked apart vs the 2021 class, might be better to wait and find someone who is likely to at least be a solid set of hands, WR2/3 options to line up opposite a tall strong WR since Skyy appears on the shorter side on the tape. I never like to compare but I thought Elijah Moore was NFL ready last year. I'm not sure Skyy can come in and be a No 1 right away but he should find avenues to attack underneath and in the slot, good speed and gets open/separation, that's the big thing for me. You get open you usually find targets coming your way.

Bernhard Raimann-LT/RT(C.Michigan) He didn't start playing OL until 2020 switching from Tight End, this guy has good movement and feet. He's not totally polished and still learning but he's come along very quickly. I believe he will be successful in the NFL and doesn't cost the investment that Neal, Cross and Ekwonu do in the Top 10. 1st round grade tackle, could go anywhere in the late 1st and after.

Chad Muma- LB from Wyoming. He has size and is a great athlete. He made plays all over the field at Wyoming. If he had played in a Power 5, I think he’s talked about in the same breath as Lloyd and Dean.

I saw him mocked to pick 65. Lions have pick 66, could be a fit?

someone likes his small Michigan programs. 👍🏽

Muma is a good name, not sure he's a sleeper, seen him Top 5 at the position on a few boards.

Leo Chenal-LB from Wisconsin is another one rising up the boards and i like him plenty. Another steal IMO well after the Top 50 are out of the way. Muma could be gone by the early or Mid-2nd depending on team needs.

Zach Thomas was the 154th overall pick, a 5th round selection for the Miami Dolphins, I'm hopeful Miami is still able at 102-124 and 158 this year to find some depth behind all these new playmakers they are bringing in. I'd like to see them use the Draft picks on Defense and depth since they have all 11 starters returning. LB is on the list, potential upgrade at NT and also another Nickle/Dime/Safety to add into the mix would be great as well.

Love Skyy Moore, and think he could/should sneak into the late 1st round.

Some guys I like a lot higher than they are mocked:

QB Sam Howell UNC=I think he's the best QB in the draft. Huge arm, pretty accurate, and good mobility. His 2 knocks are he was better in 2020 than 2021 (he lost Javonte Williams, Michael Carter, and Dyami Brown) and that UNC ran a gimmicky offense, where it was mostly just deep shots and RPO's (though the same applies to Matt Corral, and he doesn't seem to be as punished for it)

RB Dameon Pierce Florida=Very little mileage, but brings everything but breakaway speed. He's clearly behind Walker and Hall, but I think he's a better prospect than the likes of Spiller or Cook. Likely going in round 4-5, but is arguably the #3 RB in my opinion.

TE Greg Dulcich UCLA=Hadn't really looked at him, until he had a great combine. I think he's pretty easily the #2 TE in the class after McBride. He's a little short at 6-3, but he gets downfield in a hurry, as evidenced by him averaging 17.3 and 19.9 YPC over the last 2 seasons. He's also clearly improved every year.

T Abraham Lucas Washington St=Allowed 4 sacks in the last 3 seasons, despite playing in the PAC-12. He doesn't ace the athleticism measurables, though 6-7 320 is nothing to sneeze at, but he's a technically sound player, who should be a solid starting RT for years to come. He's worth a high 2nd rounder in my opinion.

C Dohnovan West Arizona St=3 year starter, who won the RG job as a Freshman, he moved to C this year, and that is likely his NFL position. Pop on any Rachaad White highlights and West will stand out a ton, especially the USC game where White had 200 yards. West looks like an instant starter to me, and I don't even see him in mocks that go 3 rounds.

EDGE Nick Bonitto Oklahoma=He might be the best pure pass rusher in this draft. His problem is that he's 6-3 240. So he might be a part-time player, still he's mocked in round 3 and has a lot of similarities to a guy like Hassan Reddick. With potentially a Robert Mathis upside. He's a perfect fit opposite an established pass rusher.

DT Devonta Wyatt Georgia=He was Georgia's best DL last season. While he was as jaw dropping at the combine as Travon Walker or Jordan Davis, he's arguably the best of the 3, and seems to have settled in as going 3rd amongst them.

LB Brian Asomoah Oklahoma=He's my #4 LB, ahead of guys like Mumu or Harris. He's a little smaller 6-1 228, but he can fly across the field. He feels like a great consolation prize for teams who miss out on Nakobe Dean.

CB Jalen Pitre Baylor=I think he's a 1st round guy. Didn't allow a TD in any of his final 3 seasons. He's been a bit of a swiss army knife, with snaps at CB, S, and even some EDGE. I think he's probably a slot CB, but a top notch one. He's also arguably the best tackler at the position.

S Nick Cross Maryland=Size/speed freak at 6-1 210 and running a 4.3. A little raw, but he's not on any mocks I've seen. He's got true centerfielder potential, and he also is solid in the run game, though occasionally prone to trusting his speed too much and making questionable decisions. Still, I'd be happy with him as a 3rd rounder.

I agree but I also see Chenal ahead of him on a lot of boards. Some have Muma as a 3rd round pick. I think he should be closer to early round 2. I agree he isn't a real deep sleeper by any means. Not sure I know the draft well enough to dig much deeper yet. I love your pick of Skyy Moore but I expect him to go between pick 28-36.

Khalil Shakir- WR Boise State. He’s a legit solid WR in terms of analytics, athleticism and people watching on film seem to like him. Could be a good steal ala Amon Ra last year.

Moore is likely a slot guy only which is why I feel he pairs well with a strong outside WR.

There are a lot of guys projected to go ahead of him and then you have new names like Watson from SDSU who had a sensational Senior Bowl week and has been going up many boards. I still feel like Skyy will be there around the middle of the 2nd...Cleveland would be picking at 44 but there is likely to still be a couple higher rated WRs they might want. Grant in the slot can't be their long term plan with DeShaun recently signed for 5 years. A fast rookie WR in the slot for Cleveland that won't cost an arm and a leg for the next several years and give Watson a weapon to work with.

I see Skyy Moore going in the late 2nd early 3rd but someone could snatch him sooner.

I disagree on Moore as a slot guy. I think I heard something crazy like 80% of his production came outside (I could be totally misremembering that, don’t take as gospel)

David Bell. Seeing him ranked in the double digits at WR. Maybe a 3-4 rounder? He didn't light it up at the combine, but he's a player.

Dameon Pierce, FLA

Right now he's a day three guy or even a UDFA, but he reminds me of Javonte Williams. Doug Farrar just called him the best back on tape in this year's draft, which solidifies my sneaking suspicion that Farrar doesn't know what he's talking about.

But Pierce is a legit baller, IMO.

It is such an interesting RB class.

Let's do 2012, so we have some meaningful data:

Justin Bethel -- 6th round, pick 177 -- Arizona Cardinals (3 pro bowls, 2X first team All-Pro)

Kirk Cousins -- 4th round, pick 102 -- Washington Redskins ($231mil in career earnings through end of next season, most of which was fully guaranteed; will likely retire as one of the top 5 highest earners in NFL history)

Russell Wilson -- 3rd round, pick 75 -- Seattle Seahawks (9 pro bowls; Superbowl Champion)

Nick Foles - 3red round, pick 88 -- Philadelphia Eagles (Superbowl Champion and MVP; 1 probowl; historic $50m contract with the Jags)

RB, Racaad White, Arizona St.

I don't follow college football like I used to and don't "watch the tape" like many, but people I respect- John Hansen, JJ Zacharison, and a few other high profile analysts have him as one to watch.

Khalil Shakir- WR Boise State. He’s a legit solid WR in terms of analytics, athleticism and people watching on film seem to like him. Could be a good steal ala Amon Ra last year.
He can play all three positions. Khalil "Swiss" Shakir, as in swiss army knife. PFF #1 rated receiver.
