I don't know. Because he thinks it was a race to see who could do drugs on live tv first and/or pot and coke are the same thing? Why?I think you're missing the point.John Belushi snorted coke live on SNL in 1975.
He said one thing that is so true. We still do not have one candidate for president that will just come out and say "I want to legalize it". Why not? I would think a Sanders could garner a ####load of votes just by saying that.Joined him from the couch and cheered him on. He's right, we have a lot of work ahead of us.
Why use it now when that card can be played a little closer to a bigger vote? I see the logic of what you are saying. Why not now? I doubt Trump would do it but he could really push some more momentum his way if he would go anti-establishment. Trump doesn't even drink though, lost a brother to alcoholism, likely not gonna legalize it. But I don't think Trump will undo what has been passed in CA, CO, WA...if he were asked that question about legalizing and he even hinted like he was going to put a stop to it...landslide for the DNC.He said one thing that is so true. My take on this whole issue is this, can we all agree that it will be legal at some point in the future? I would think most people would say yes. If most would say yes, why are we waiting? All of this time to get to legalization when the writing is on the wall now. Just be done with it.Why use it now when that card can be played a little closer to a bigger vote? Florida voted 57% for it in the last vote to legalize. We have to come in at 60% so a majority want it here but not quite enough. I would like to see the Native Americans be given the right to sell this on their reservations here in Florida to start. Whatever is needed to push it thru. Was the 1st time we voted as a state in Florida on the issue in 2014, most feel it would pass next time around. My take on this whole issue is this, can we all agree that it will be legal at some point in the future? Hear HearI hate His politics but love his show. And even though I don't smoke and am very much anti-drugs, I support legalizing pot. He should spark one up at the end of every show. Kind of like Red Auerbach lighting up the victory cigar.

http://feelthebern.org/bernie-sanders-on-drug-policy/Recreational Use of Marijuana: Bernie has said he would vote yes as a resident of a state considering legalization. For federal legalization, he has said that he supports ending the federal prohibition on marijuana, allowing states to opt for legalization if they so choose.
Hardly. When I can stick it to big govt, big pharma and big prison in one swoop, and in doing so flip billions spent into billions earned and taxed.I'm fine with legalization but it seems to me that people who make this a big issue are pretty childish. There's like 1,000 more important issues. Being a single issue voter for something like pot is embarrassing.
I've made mention a few times that a politician's stance on marijuana is a good barometer of their ability to make sound decisions on other issues.I'm fine with legalization but it seems to me that people who make this a big issue are pretty childish. Big pharma deserves all the stems. And yes, it doesn't stop big pharma from poisoning our society with opiates, but it will certainly stem the tide
Why is it bad that people want to get high?I get the broader issues (like the bs petty war on drugs leading to huge inmate pops) but honestly 90% of people just want to get high. All the systemic arguments are pretext for that.
Now medicinal marijuana is a totally different discussion IMO.
Never have understood that mentality, especially when it comes to weed. I compare weed to alcohol and imo weed is so much safer. Alcohol can be a very destructive drug. Weed, not so much. Why is it bad that people want to get high?I get the broader issues (like the bs petty war on drugs leading to huge inmate pops) but honestly 90% of people just want to get high. I think that's fine but the Feds are going to have to do something about the banking issue. Since it's still against the law at the federal level, dispensaries are not able to utilize banks. Other than that, there are some states that are a long ways away from legalization. Why not let states decide the issues for themselves? Some of us prefer to smoke and roll our eyes at people who use the word 'vape'.The fact that he smoked it instead of using a nice portable Vape, shows that we still have a very long way to go. Fk combustion.
There is exactly one Credit Union in Oregon Willing to let dispensaries deposit money and use their banking products, but it comes at a cost and requires stringent policy following. Shame, really.I think that's fine but the Feds are going to have to do something about the banking issue. So do those broader issues mean the issue of mj legalization cracks your top 1000?I get the broader issues (like the bs petty war on drugs leading to huge inmate pops) but honestly 90% of people just want to get high. All the systemic arguments are pretext for that.

Yea, you're called idiots. You're wasting the plant and most of its active ingredients and fking up your lungs. Weighing the pros and cons there's absolutely zero pros for smoking except for its more familiar/traditional. Choke away on that disgusting ash though. It's like beer bonging a bottle of wine and spilling half of it on your shirt... Classy. Some of us prefer to smoke and roll our eyes at people who use the word 'vape'.The fact that he smoked it instead of using a nice portable Vape, shows that we still have a very long way to go. I have never vaped so I'm not sure how it works. Can you explain? Do you still get the pot smell when you vape?Yea, you're called idiots. Dude, take a vape and chillax. I think your skinny jeans might be too tight.Yea, you're called idiots. You're wasting the plant and most of its active ingredients and fking up your lungs. It smells for maybe 5 min. It's a lot more floral though as all those good canabanoids are not being destroyed by fire. The smell doesn't stick to your clothes or hands either.I have never vaped so I'm not sure how it works. Can you explain? Do you still get the pot smell when you vape?Yea, you're called idiots. I'm not a young hipster because I use the word vape. Keep the logical fallacies coming though. If you love the plant you'll come around someday. Smoking is archaic.Dude, take a vape and chillax.
