Why use it now when that card can be played a little closer to a bigger vote? I see the logic of what you are saying. Why not now? I doubt Trump would do it but he could really push some more momentum his way if he would go anti-establishment. Trump doesn't even drink though, lost a brother to alcoholism, likely not gonna legalize it. But I don't think Trump will undo what has been passed in CA, CO, WA...if he were asked that question about legalizing and he even hinted like he was going to put a stop to it...landslide for the DNC.

My take on this whole issue is this, can we all agree that it will be legal at some point in the future? I would think most people would say yes. If most would say yes, why are we waiting? All of this time to get to legalization when the writing is on the wall now. Just be done with it.

Why not let states decide the issues for themselves? You know, like they're doing now?

If you watch the piece, Maher raises this point but points to an example in Kansas that I admit I haven't researched or looked into beyond what Maher presented. But if his representation is accurate, the story is, an Iraqi vet, married with 3 kids I think, is having issues with PTSD or other pain problems. Prescription pills don't work/aren't desired, he says Medical Marijauana is the only thing helping him, he makes plans to move his family to Colorado. Before that happens, the state takes his children away under child endangerment provisions. Not sure if there's more to the story than that but thats whats presented as one of Maher's rationales for federal legalization and recognition.

I have never vaped so I'm not sure how it works. Can you explain? Do you still get the pot smell when you vape?

It smells for maybe 5 min. It's a lot more floral though as all those good canabanoids are not being destroyed by fire. The smell doesn't stick to your clothes or hands either.

Basically you can use half as much bud to get twice as medicated and the flavor is significantly better/more, and any health threats are significantly reduced. No brainer.

The exact opposite here, with two different devices (iolite, and the pax). Need twice as much to get half as high. Tastes good, though.

Hmmm, that sucks. How are you prepping the herb? I don't know the Iolite, but I've heard a lot of good things about the Pax2... are you doing anything with your ABV at least? Might want to check the FkCombustion forums or the vaporents subreddit and see if your experience mirrors others. My Arizer Air is a GD champ. I bought a 2nd one as a back up soon after getting mine because I loved it so much. They're a Canadian company so there are lots of good deals on them right now while the CA$ is so low.

There can be a bit of a learning curve to vaping and a certain vaporizers so I can see why some people don't get it. I've heard that if you don't think you're getting as stoned you should take a week off and then solely vape for the following week... it's possible you're just not getting that brain asphyxiation from all the carbon dioxide that you're used to from smoking. There's a eurphoric feeling from that that isn't quite there when you vape.. but I've founded the added cannabanoids and more THC more than make up for it. I've rediscovered older strains I thought were crappy but had some awesome properties when vaped at lower temps. Certain cannabanoids with psychoactive effects get completely destroyed when combusting that get released at different temperatures when you vape. I'll never go back to smoking as my primary means of ingestion, seems barbaric and tastes gross in comparison.

oh yea, another possibility... smoke is absorbed really fast in the lungs where vapor needs to be held a bit longer. In fact, if you're exhaling and seeing "smoke" what you're really seeing is "wasted" vapor... but even still, you should be able to cloud it up and still get baked way more efficiently than burning.

I get people thinking he's and ###. But his show and especially The Talking Points thing or whatever the last part of the show is called are almost always spot on and does it in a funny way. He / his writers are fantastic at that. Good guests as well usually talk about the best topics of the week. Wish he would have more people on that disagree with him. Usually only has one of the panel of 3 that is going to push back.
