**Bills at Commanders** (+6, 43) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

weather.com says

1:00 PM
65 degrees
20% chance of rain
Wind South at 3 MPH

4:00 PM
68 degrees
15% chance of rain
Wind WNW at 5 MPH

the field might be muddy from previous rain

Could be less than desirable field conditions for this one. Who will/might turn the ball over one to many times? I'm looking at you Josh Allen.
No analytics,just a gut feeling...

Washington- 27
Buffalo- 23

I agree that I feel Washington has a good chance to win this week, many are doubting them so it's not like they have played their best football
Field conditions could be slowwww and that would tilt things to Washington IMO

I'll say Washington 24...Buffalo 21

Out for Washington:
Logan Thomas, TE (as usual)
Curtis Hodges, TE

Field will probably be very sloppy, with unpredictable plays as a result. Commanders could get blown out, or could hang in and eke out a close one. Nobody really knows how good or bad they are yet.

If Cole Turner TE is active I may grab him as a Hail Mary.

He seems like a plodder but he does catch most of what's thrown his way.

I'll take 23 pts from Bills in a soakfest anytime! should mean more B. Robinson and James Cook right?
Weather doesn't seem to affect the Bills' passing game much. They've obviously played in a lot of bad weather games, and other than the one game against the Pats (where the Pats threw like 3 passes the whole game) the Bills still put up pretty normal numbers.

My gut tells me the Bills are going to turn up the aggressiveness dial a bit this week after last week's conservative/vanilla get-right game. With a couple pre-season-like warm-ups under their belt, I am expecting another 30+ point game. I think Washington's ceiling is around 24.

Who knows... We'll see what the script says...

I think they actually stick with the offense they ran last week. Washington has a great D-line. Their softest spot on defense is probably their linebackers, so quick hitters probably gives them the most chance of success.

This only thing the Bills D was really missing the last few years was great MLB play. With that and Von coming back look the hell out!!

Howell just holding the ball wayyy too much in the pocket. Then a really poor throw on the INT, missed Dotson by 5 yards.
He hasn’t played a defensive front like Buffalo’s yet. Howell likes to be aggressive and throw downfield for big plays. Gonna be harder to do that against the Bills defense.

Well, that and ability to actually take QBs down. They always seemed to have decent pressure rates, but struggled to put the QB on the ground. They’re definitely doing it this year and should take it up another notch when Miller is back.

Two for 26 so far. Good start!

The Bills have had pretty good pass protection so far. Very encouraging sign. They were awful Week 1 but good last week and good in pass protection today. Not so great in run blocking today, but good pass protection does so much for Josh’s mental state and slows him down.

There’s bad Josh. No reason to throw that ball other than being impatient and frustrated.

But also, his teammates not making plays is what lead to that as well. Davis dropping a pass and then the holding call. Penalties have really hampered Buffalo’s offense today.

not trying to take anything away from Buffalo D, they are great, but Washington's offensive line is literally playing the worst game as a unit I can ever remember seeing. And Gibson should be stappled to bench now. Upside is not worth the fumbles. :wall:

I knew Washington wasn't very good but still, very impressive display today by the Buffalo Bills

-Miami is doing well, these 2 teams will face off next week up in Orchard Park, should be a great game

And to make things worse Bienemy didn't vary his playcalling, but instead called plays for Howell to stand in the pocket time after time. I'm not saying Bienemy's terrible or a failure or anything like that, just that he was too stubborn in this game. Few screens or rollouts, just standing in the pocket to get flattened. Washington's offensive line on the other hand is terrible.
