**NFC Divisional Round - Rams at Eagles** (-6, 42.5) 3:00 on NBC (2 Viewers)

All I want is for people to watch the game and not confirm their priors by beating the same point over and over when they’re flat wrong.

I’m no great watcher of football (even though I briefly worked for PFF because I was good at—wait for it—watching football). There are others that not only have the Xs and Os down and know really what’s going on, but who can also see bodily movements better.
So, you’re not asking for much, just changing human nature? 😂

Just a touch. Can we nudge it, or is that too 2008?
My experience? You need a crowbar. Or a famine.

It’s all about what you aspire to be, isn’t it?

Despite the poll yesterday, I'd argue the team with the better QB won again. Bringing the playoff record to 8-1 for the better QB. If that holds, it won't be good news for Philly next week, because Daniels>>>Hurts.
lots will depend on his knee.

We should aspire to be like you... but you're not arrogant. Got it, thanks again, moving on...

I am so glad that today I received an education in watching professional football on the boob tube. Not sure how I survived so long when here I was doing it wrong all this time. Whew! I can sleep super easy now that I feel confident in my newfound abilities to watch the conference championships like an expert.

I didn’t even get to give any advice!

You seem awfully obsessed in carrying on a conversation I obviously want nothing to with. But anyway, thanks for playing, moving on . . .

I already said moving on first, not obsessed at all, you're the one that can't help replying, just watch...

All I know is the first few pages of this game thread were dominated with how this was an awful matchup for the Rams. It wouldn’t be much of a game. How all the weaknesses of one team (rams) were the strengths of the other (eagles). Etc etc etc. somehow I think those same people weren’t saying that on that last drive.

Good win for the Eagles. But I’m proud as hell of the Rams. Had everything working against them all playoffs long and showed nothing but heart and grit.

Stafford showed why he’s a future Hall of Famer. McVay showed why he’s a top three coach in the league.

McVay is an amazing coach and the Rams proved they have a bright future when everyone thought they were left for dead after the Super Bowl.

Oh, that's OK. Just making me aware of my deficiencies got me to reevaluate my viewing habits. Changes will be made.

Obviously that could have went either way and the Rams played a great game. They had a hell of a season when not much was expected of them outside of the locker room at the beginning of the season. McVay again proves he's a great coach.

I've thought that for years now. Not only does he place his players in a position to contribute, he develops coaches like no other. This Shula will be a hot commodity within another year or two.

I give mcvay and the rams all the credit in the world. Their pass rush did better than I expected. I still think the weather makes it hard to draw too many conclusions either way, but the rams have the eagles all they could handle.

Eagles ran for 285 yards at 8.4 yards per carry even though the Rams sold out to stop the run. I'd say that went about exactly as I thought it would. I wish the Eagles would have run the ball more, I think they threw a bit too much.

Agree some of the play calls, like the one we took the safety on, were pretty disappointing.

Yeah, they were a little pass heavy which allowed the Rams smaller line to get pressure. I understand, when the other team is putting 7 and 8 guys in the box, you have to throw it. But as we saw with Saquon, if you stack the box, once he gets by the first line, it's off to the races. I want to give him as many opportunities for that as I can.

The safety and the late sack Jalen took in handing off to Barkley. We survived but hopefully next week we hit a better rhythm with the play calls. Was one of those games it felt like we were trying to lose at times.

Absolutely. Rams have a lot to proud of. Bad matchup and less talent and they made it close.

I had this wrong for sure. Congrats to Rams for a scrappy fight. Well done.
