Bills running backs combine for 9 carries (1 Viewer)

Clifford

Buffalo has to be the worst-coached team hands down. Shame on Sig and Cecil for calling Gailey a "genius" this guy is a complete idiot.

Jackson 3 for 21

Spiller 2 for 11

Lynch 4 for 8

meanwhile Fitz runs it 7 times for 70 yards, throws it 27 times for 128. Entire offense totals 223 yards.

The Bills really are the picture of suckitude.

I agree. What else can you say? I half-joked a few weeks ago when I said they are worse run than the Raiders but I think the torch Has been passed. This is the worst-run team in the NFL.

You have offers to improve your team and trade away one of your three RBs...but don't. Yet, you have no clue how to actually use them once you keep them.

You have three capable running backs on your team and you can't do better than get 9 touches. No body is going to be effectiv elike that. You could have Chris Johnson on that team and 4 touches isn't going to do much.

Pitiful.

Their offense was pretty ineffective and their o-line was getting no push whatsoever. The Bills RBs were being met in the backffield at least every other time they touched the ball. They just didn't get much going on offense in order to dole out a lot of carries.

I guess when you give up as many points as the Bills do, you probably feel like you need to score 35+ to win a game. Not likely to do that by running the ball 30 times. I'm not saying its the right way to look at it, but it sure seems like it was evident based on the plays run.

Why did they draft Spiller?
No kidding. I think this is the second time this season he's had 3 or less touches. Get the ball in his hands and he might be able to do something!
I watched the game and came away real impressed with Spiller.....in the return game....kid has burts and the moves that go with it. Absolute sin they aren't feeding him the ball more on offense.

I agree. When he played against the Pats, he scared the hell out of me everytime he touched the ball.

It really is completely incomprehensible what they are doing on offense. Even when the two best backs are both averaging over 5 ypc they don't give them a chance. It's like...I don't know if I had to think of an analogy I guess it would be when Bush said Brownie was doing a heckuva job...it's like there's no possible way to figure what they are either looking at or thinking.

I mean, you have the ninth overall pick who has done really well every time he's been given the slightest chance since the first game, and you simply won't get him involved in your completely moribund, go nowhere, narcolepsy-inducing offense.

You can talk about them getting behind early and having to pass, but sorry that is ######ed when you have Fitzpatrick under center. You're 0-4. You have no shot at the playoffs and even if you got there you would get annihilated. I would just pick an offense that plays to what little strengths you have as a team and run that regardless of what's on the scoreboard. At least that way by this time next year you could be decent at running it.

Pathetically I have two Bills rb's on one of my teams. I can't yet bring myself to cut Spiller but Lynch is close. The problem is whether Lynch gets traded or not. I have move one of them for M. Bush and may drop the other one for Torain. They truly are pathetic.

Why did they draft Spiller?
Seems to me if your line can't match the opposition and your RB's can't penetrate then a guy like Spiller is the perfect draft pick.Nice idea but lousey execution: I see why they drafted Spiller, I just don't understand why they don't use him.

I think it will take Gailey getting fired. Which I think happens in the next two weeks. The guy has pretty much sucked at every coaching job he has ever had, and really think it is the only thing that can get this team out of the gutter. I wouldn't even worry about replacing him this year. Pick an interim coach and start planning for 2011.

Ok, true. Make sense. And in general, to build a good team, build the lines.

I have no idea how he even got the job. He's not a very good coach. He's a decent coordinator. The Bills are the east coast raiders without the talent.
