BJGE (1 Viewer)

What do you guys see happening with Green-Ellis this weekend? On one hand he should get a lot of carries, but then again the projected conditions would seem to favor the defenses. And he's been getting it done this year b/c he's finding the end zone.

Does that trend continue Sunday?

The team that I own him in is on a bye this week, but he has done so well for me of late, that I would continue to start him.

Yes, the weather will make this game more defense oriented, and while the passing game for New England will suffer, they still got to move the ball down the field to score and the running game is usually less affected by the elements.

Depends on what your other options are. I think he's borderline startable. I'm rolling with Ahmad Bradshaw and Jonathan Stewart over BJGE in one league and starting BJGE over Jahvid Best, Anthony Dixon, and James Starks in another.

It wouldn't surprise me if BJGE out scores Bradshaw and/or Stewart and it wouldn't surprise me if Starks outscores BJGE.

If they run a ton more b/c of the conditions he has to get more opps. Especially with his ball security. I know it will be windy, but tBrady will still be passing (short stuff) so that should scare the bears enough to give him some room. I am playing him in 1/2 playoffs (benching him for MJD/Moreno).

The strength of Chicago is stopping the run. BJGE isn't THAT good. The weather just lets Chicagos safteys play closer to the line, as well as, NE doesn't have too many burners to beat them in that weather.

I agree with everything said so far. I will be starting BJGE, but only because he continues to produce no matter the opponent. He hasn't run into conditions, but my feeling is that, based on this year, when the Patriots get to the 10 yd. line (and they will...somehow) he will get the ball at least TWICE. Again, each time the Pats are in the red zone it's BJGE time.

I can't stand watching the game normally because it's either BJGE or Woodhead...and I just can't predict substitution patterns. But, in the red zone, it's all BGJE. So, I'll roll with him. I could be wrong...but he's been right so much this year.
