I wish I would have seen it in the theater (WTF was I thinkinking?) but I really liked it. Not as much as the first, but I don't know what else one could possibly expect from a sequel 25 years later. Excellent job by all involved.
I own it on Blue Ray and watched it 2 more times since I saw it at the IMAX last year. Still have the same opinion. I loved the movie, I think it is a marvelous sequel and as good as the original. It surpasses Blade Runner in many ways in terms of atmosphere and today's technology. But I hold both films very high as a brilliant Sci-Fi Noire experience.
It is sad that it bombed. It would have been good for the future for a big budget well marketed non-super hero film to have been a hit. Although it may have spared us from some rushed crappy BR sequels.

i didn't even realize it bombed, but $260M on a $150M budget is kind of a bomb. at least it made a profit. Thor made like 700M by comparison.
I thought it was the best movie id seen in quite some time, very well done and interesting story. I've seen it 3 or 4 times, visuals are amazing and the sound/music is incredible
