Blind Bidding (1 Viewer)

I bid $100 (10%) on Flacco this week. I figure the biggest bids will come in the first few weeks so I am OK doling out a little extra dough to nab a guy. In the preseason there was not much activity, but to give an idea Mike Bell went for $45, Dustin Keller went for $15, and there were several small pickups who went for a dollar (the minimum).

I'd like to see this thread get more responses but I don't think it will because it's such a hard question to answer. There are so many variables.. how bad you want a guy, how bad other owners will want him, bidding tendencies of other owners, it's almost like a poker game.

I will say that I am looking to spend a majority of my bidding bucks in week 1, but that doesn't mean I'll be overbidding.

are there any good articles on this site that help you with this. its our first year using BB and it would be nice to have some kind of guide.

Who is the top free agent?

One league it's Ben Watson (20%)

Another Devery Henderson (18%)

My other main league it's Michael Clayton - probably go a bit heavier here because the rosters are so deep there's not a lot to pick up.

I'm trying to figure out how much of my 100 I want to bid on Mewelde Moore. I'm a Willie Parker owner that went WR heavy early on.

I'm thinking I might have to go up above 20.

$100 Season Waiver Budget

Naanee $2
Cribbs $3
L Robinson $5
Bess $5
Shawn Nelson $20PPR, Lineup: QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, RB/WR, TE, K, D/ST

8 team Auction league. $22 left after draft and a $100 season budget so $122 to spend overall.

Put a bid in for Sproles. I really want him so I bid $40.

$100 budget

I got Heap for $2

Ben Watson went for $11, and Justin Gage went for $21. I don't think there were any competing bids for any of those players but I'm not positive.

Watson is fools gold IMO.

$50 budget (PPR league) and trying to get one of the following:

Mark Clayton $7

Nate Burleson $7

Laurent Robinson $5

I might bump Clayton or Burleson up to $10 but I'm hesitant to do that in Week 1 for what would be my WR4.

IDP 4-Keeper 1/2 PPR league ($100 budget)

Out of how much money?
We get 100 bidding bucks for season. So I spent all of mine on Burleson and another guy did the same for Carnell and a third guy came close 95/100 for Bell. Our league rosters 22 in dynasty and it seems like the best waiver wire pickups in the past are week 1 and if you don't your guy you lose out. So I have learned to spend big for the guy I want.
