Fantasy Sports Channel Features 52 Hours of Live, Original Programming a Week,

with Continuous 7-Hour Blocks Monday-Friday

NEW YORK, N.Y., August 27, 2008 – BlogTalkRadio, the world’s largest online radio network, today announced the launch of its Fantasy Sports Channel. The will feature 52 hours of live, original, call-in programming, making it the most comprehensive fantasy-sports broadcast offering in the world.

Going live on Tuesday, Sept. 2 at 4:00 p.m. ET, the channel is timed to coincide with the start of the 2008-2009 NFL football season.

The schedule features 28 shows hosted by 20 expert fantasy sportscasters, including Craig Davis (“Two Feet In Bounds"), Cecil Lammey (“The Audible Drive Block”), Brian Swaw (“GameTimeDecisions”), and Lyle Konkiel and Kevin Moore (“The Fantasy Football Guys”).

Each weekday brings seven hours of live, continuous programming (aka “Power Blocks”), with an additional one and a half hours on “Super-sized Tuesdays” and “Super-sized Thursdays.” The channel also features a live, two-hour morning warm-up show on Tuesdays, as well as eight hours of live “Fantasy Frenzy” programming on Sundays.

“BlogTalkRadio’s Fantasy Sports Channel will no doubt be quickly embraced by the 30 million North Americans who are fantasy-sports enthusiasts – and spend more than $3.8 billion annually on this fast-growing pastime,” said Philip Recchia, BlogTalkRadio’s director of programming. “This is a market that’s thirsting for live, expert commentary and interactivity.”

In addition to football, the channel will also feature baseball, hockey and tennis programming, with basketball, golf, car racing and other sports joining the lineup in the coming months.

I try to get to Andrew's on Wed.

GK's show is an hour before the first game

Cecil and Bloom usually are Thursday night but there's a game on so...not sure what time they are on this week.

I'm tuned into those 3.

Can anyone recommend another one?

There are seriously a ton of great shows on the channel. If you go to their home page, you'll see a bunch to choose from. They key is to listen to all of the different programming and pick out your favorites. The live "power block" starts at 4pm EST and goes to at least 11pm, Monday thru Friday. Sunday's are live as well from 10am to kickoff and then there's post game coverage from 5pm-9pm.

Thanks!Cec, Bloom and I will always be on Wed for 2 hours of POWER, game or not.

Am just listening to some of them for the first time (turns out Daily News Shows take up lots o time - I thought Cec was kidding) but will let you know what I find - PM me a reminder so when my brain turns to mush I will remember.

it's too much time to sit thru to wait to discover favorites, 42 hours. That's really long. Marc Ronick sent me a link to his. I don't recall what day it was. Please recommend some more football onesI guess I'm looking for a show on Mon, Tues, Fri, and Sat.
