Blu Tooth and Iphone (1 Viewer)

Quick check with the Apple and tech geeks. I have an original IPhone 4. I just received a Sony Blu Tooth Speaker. Wife's IPhone 6 picks up the speaker mine does not. Is this because the speaker speaks a different blu tooth than my phone? Yes the wife's phone is disconnected from the speaker and yes my phone is picking up some other blu tooth device that I told it to ignore?

Possible: Hold the pairing button, on the speaker, down for about 5-10 seconds. It needs to send out a signal to get recognized

Wow, I remember when all FBG was like this. You are a gentleman and a scholar sir. I had to do that but the wife didn't. Works fine now.
