Bo Scaife (1 Viewer)

Raider Nation

Devil's Advocate
After Tennessee signed Moss, Scaife was asked for his thoughts. "THANK GOD" was his reply.

He went on to explain that he expects to see lots of green grass and open field thanks to the attention The World's Most Expensive Decoy receives. Moss helped Welker. Moss helped Harvin. Now it's Bo's turn.

I picked him up before the Miami game but didn't play him. Sure enough, season high in targets, season high in catches, and two yards away from his season high in yards. And this was with a very difficult QB situation. We're certainly not talking HUGE numbers here... but if anyone is having trouble finding a reliable TE to plug in, give him a look.

Nothing changed with the offense. Scaife's Vince's boy for longer than most realize. Sure I agree with Moss getting attention, but this is what I've been saying for a couple weeks now. It's still Fisher's O and it's looked quite similar regardless who the OC is. Was Scaife like Wychek? Do they give it to CJ a million times like ol Eddie?

When Britt comes back, they're going to have the most talented WRs they've had in at least 20 years if not ever. Still it seems like just in case they're behind or need some quick points or somesuch.

Jared Cook is still a big tease that makes a great play and drops a gimme. He's the most athletic TE and one of the faster TEs in the NFL. Craig Stevens is clearly the superior blocking TE and the Titans have been able to catch teams off-guard throwing to him. Bo Scaife is the get'r done guy and Vince surely appreciates that, but the other two have to be of some concern if you have high hopes for Scaife's stats.

What should be expected of Scaife with Rusty throwing the ball? My initial thought is that with Moss and Washington drawing coverage and CJ as a rushing threat that Bo could be a nice safety blanket in passing downs. He's got Houston's porous defense this week and week 15. Will Collins be back soon? With so many concerns at TE could Scaife be an under the radar starting FF TE?

no clue jbird, nothing to go on.

Gotta believe the O will be either the same or stripped down for him and that both ways the TE is a significant part of the Titans passing offense
