Bohemian Rhapsody is 50 years old. I know I didn't rank it top in my count down for the MAD artist countdown (I had it as #8) but I did my rankings more on a personal affect on my life by the song and my #1 (Fat Bottom Girls) was the first song that I heard from Queen when I was younger that turned me on to the artist.

Objectively looking at it, it has to be one of the most influential songs of all time, but how high would you rank it?

I voted can’t stand this song. That’s probably a little harsh , I really don’t like Queen . I don’t like the song but maybe can’t stand is a bit much

One of the most innovative, creative songs in pop/rock history - hard to go top 10, but I gave it top 50. But well within the top 50.

I think many are turned off by it due to massive overplay, going back to Wayne's World. But it's a massive achievement.

It has been so overplayed that it is almost impossible IMO for anyone to listen to it in 2025 with any sort of objectivity.

Radio listeners were pretty much blown away when it was released in 1975 because it was unlike anything they had ever heard before and to this day is pretty much in its own category of Rock And Roll.

I was fortunate enough to see Queen perform it live, which was absolutely stunning and probably a major reason I gave it a Top 10 ranking.

I recall going back to their Live Killers LP in 1979 that the band would play the first half of Rhapsody and then leave the stage to play the operatic portion from the album because it was impossible to replicate live. Then they’d come back afterwards for the big finish.

My 2 genres of music are basically Rock n Roll/Metal and Underground Dance, I'm not sure exactly where I would rank this song but certainly top 500 of all time sounds reasonable
Could it be a top 100 for me? Maybe

i don't own the song on any platform, vinyl, etc...so while I absolutely enjoy it on the radio or whenever I hear it, it's possible I have not heard that song in several months
So how much do I really love the song? But I do enjoy hearing it when it's being played
