I'm not quite sure how anyone can not see Holmes with 1200+yds and double digit TD's. He is without a doubt the one player the fantasy community totally missed the boat on this year. He's a Top 10 WR this year. Then again so is Marshall now that hes only out openeing weekend
Marshall
Holmes
Boldin
Really? I think its much easier to make a case that he won't do that than he will. I was pretty high on Holmes coming off last season, but as I looked closer at him I'm coming away less impressed. Yeah, he makes big plays and was very productive per game, but he doesn't see the targets and its somewhat distressing that his best numbers were in games that Ward didn't play in(except that crazy Ravens game where Ben threw 5 scores)1,200 and 10+ scores just seems like a lofty expectation to me. While it would make sense for the Steelers to increase Holmes' targets, there is no evidence that they will do so. He's also unlikely to do as much as he did last year with those targets, guys don't put up 18+ per catch often.
I'd rank them:
Marshall
Boldin/Holmes
I think Boldin is slightly ahead of Holmes, but he has more risk due to the stability of his QB situation and his contract squabbles(though that is probably not as big a deal as its made out to be) I would be happy with any of these 3 as my WR2, but Marshall is the only WR1 of the trio.
