yes. The harder the op, the more Intel requiredCan someone explain how the intel works? From what I gather, each member of the TF gains intel when they raid. Does each Op require a certain amount of intel to engage in?

i got to the 20 threshold this time with just grenadiers and artillery.i can usually get the 25 building rewardTried Gearheart once, got smoked
Me too. But it sucks being on the receiving end of a 45 second warrior thrashing. All my buildings blowed up. :(trying to master warrior rush...very little room for error here. Would be a lot easier on a tablet.

FYI if you click on your various resources at the top of the screen, it will tell you how much of your current resource is protected by the vault.Meant to ask about this in chat so my vault is lvl14 and says it protects 75% of my stuff. Does that mean that when attacked I can only lose 25% of everything I have or does that just apply to the vault?always max out vault. IMO the most important upgrade.
three failed attacks on a level 42 resource base. I keep screwing up something on my smoke rush in, where I am just short of that third shock. one missed placed smoke can be the difference between taking the base or not. Starting out with 65 GBE, which seems like it should be enough.yeah warrior rushes take some precision and planning. Need enough GBE to smoke to the base and if you can drop 3 shocks you should be golden until you get to higher level bases.
i used to worry about shocking mortars, but not as much anymore. Now my priority is:1. Shock launcherthree failed attacks on a level 42 resource base. if you've got the prototype lab and can get to the first few thresholds to get prototype components, yes. Once I get to 20 buildings destroyed, I retreat. You need SERIOUS firepower to try to take down the whole baseIs it worth it to attack the war factory? I've seen it a few times but it just looks like a waste of troops to try and attack.
tanks are useless against Gearhart. Warriors can be useful on a first attack to take out a rocket launcher and open up a section for subsequent attacksI should mess around with it more. I've hit it a few times just to 10. I'm only maxed on warriors and tanks so not sure they are ideal for the war factory
I don't have the lab yet. Good info. Thanks.if you've got the prototype lab and can get to the first few thresholds to get prototype components, yes. you can attack 3 times in a 24 hour period, damage persists. 6 days later it's reset when she's back.So her base doesn;t reset each time she appears, or is it something that you can attack multiple times during her stay?
everything counts. Don't bother with artillery/barrage. Save your GBE for shock bombsOK saw the 90 lvl and laughed. Maybe I'll give it a go.
Do defenses and those gray boes count towards total buildings or just the gray ones?
TIA

So my move now and I assume for most is whenever I throw a flare (for the most part) I drop a heal there as well. Typically it's in the midst of a bunch of defenses so they are going to get beat up, this allows them to heal up as they deal out punishment. Works well if you have the GBE to do it. Good habit to get into regardless.ARGH!! That’s the second battle this morning I messed up and threw the flare NEAR the target as opposed to hitting the target directly. Thereby lumping my heavies and zookas RIGHT NEXT to a level 8 machine gun. Mowed them all down as they leisurely strolled over to it like they were going on a nice Sunday afternoon walk.
Really need to zoom in when playing on my phone. REALLY need to zoom in. Amazing how one missed flare can mean the difference between taking a base with modest casualties and getting your entire force wiped out in epic fashion.
Yes, you can view the damage being done by your troops inside your Armory. Click on the i for the troop type and the number in pink/purple will show the extra damage being done due to statues.Question, do statue benefits stack? I have a regular magma statue for +5% troop damage. Now I have a guardian for +9% damage. If I have both of those deployed, will I get a +14% troop damage bonus?

I'm a level 41, and beat him last week without any prototype weapons.Question about the rewards you get from "Hammerman attacks"....
I'm level 42, can build the weapons lab, and have beaten hammerman level 45. I haven't built the weapons lab yet because I have no desire to build those weapons (don't want to stop people from attacking me as my TF needs the intel). However, are the rewards you get from defending against him significant? I assume they are scaled based on level...so anyone out there around level 42 that successfully defend against him...what rewards did you reap? Do you need the weapons from the lab to hold him off?
Wondering if I should build the lab so he'll attack me, yet not build the weapons.
Agreed. Build it and start stacking prototype modules for when you do want to build the weapons.I'm a level 41, and beat him last week without any prototype weapons.Question about the rewards you get from "Hammerman attacks"....

I think the level of troops he deploys is based on your victory points though, so YMMV...I was in the mid 190's at the time.
The only rewards you get are prototype weapon parts. You may not want to build prototype weapons right now, but the parts seem hard to come by, and you may want proto weapons in the future...might as well start collecting them now.
Having the ability to save different base layouts is a big help for hammerman. Think about what a base would look like if you knew he didn't use GBE...

My opinion on barrage....it's not the "game changer" you think it's going to be. I was very disappointed in the amount of damage it does in relation to the GBE it costs. One by one the people in my task force have followed suit and figured out that a single well timed shock bomb is a much better idea than barraging a launcher twice and still having to artillery it.<paraphrase> can't wait for barrage!!!! </paraphrase>
Thanks guys...had figured you'd get normal rewards like Gearheart too.coyote5 said:Agreed. Will be awhile yet...need to beat Hammerman level 45 which is unlocked at Radar level 15.Haven't run into Gearheart yet though.
I don't think one needs to spend money...just need to be patient and plan. Odds are you'll also be a better player in the process since you'll have to learn to use what you've got in attacks and not just throw money at getting stronger.Shoot, I've only been going at this about a month maybe. Haven't spent any money nor do I intend to. Marvel War of Heroes gets any disposable income I have, which is rare as it is.
No worries, I'll keep plugging away.
