Boston's Drug was GHB (1 Viewer)

That was my first guess due to Boston's body building efforts.

Cop haters, race carders, Boston apologists and all the rest can rest easy now knowing that things are being handled properly in Florida.

In a medical setting, GHB is used as a general anesthetic, to treat conditions such as insomnia, clinical depression, narcolepsy, and alcoholism, and to improve athletic performance. It is also used illegally under the street names Juice, Liquid Ecstasy or simply G, either as an intoxicant, or as a date rape drug. GHB is naturally produced in the human body's cells and is structurally related to the ketone body beta-hydroxybutyrate. As a drug it is used most commonly in the form of a salt. [3] GHB is also produced as a result of fermentation and so is found in small quantities in some beers and wines.

Did`nt the team test him and if so how could they have missed that drug ???? :kicksrock:
According to the article, it's not something the league tests for.
If i remember correctly Seabass janikowski was arrested for that same drug was he not?
Yeah, but he wasn't arrested for failing a league drug test. Cops test for it but apparently the league doesn't. He was caught with it too I believe at a club.

So's this:Adverse effects from Xyrem (GHB) in clinical trials included: headache, nausea, dizziness, nasopharyngitis, somnolence, vomiting, urinary incontinence, confusion, dyspnea, hypoesthesia, paresthesia, tremor, vertigo, and blurred vision.

And this:

GHB may induce nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, agitation, visual disturbances, depressed breathing, amnesia, unconsciousness and death. The effects of GHB can last from 1.5 to 3 hours, or even longer if large doses have been consumed or if it is mixed with alcohol.

The bolded parts clearly were affects Boston was suffering from. And with such a short duration of effects could easily explain why he 'seemed' fine in the video we saw, which was clearly not the whole picture.

That stuff WILL kill you. Killed my best friend five years ago when he mixed it with alcohol. Bad news that stuff.
Yep. Saw some of the negative consequences of this drug back in the day. It is/was a popular party drug and also used as a athletic performance enhancer.
