Here's the blurb. Figured this is certainly newsworthy:

Chiefs | Dwayne Bowe signs tender

Kansas City Chiefs franchise free-agent WR Dwayne Bowe has signed his one-year tender and will join the team soon. He is scheduled to make around $9.5 million this season.

Good news and I will now share my thoughts on Bowe.

He has so much talent and can be a top 10 WR in the NFL but he seems to lack some of the stuff needed between the ears. I would like to see him focus on football. Cassel is going to be able to operate out of play action a lot this season, something that was missing sorely last year. When he has time to set up on play action, Bowe becomes a very dangerous weapon on offense and I would move him up about 4-5 spots in that WR 5-25 group everyone takes 2 of in the drafts.

Bowe has 80-90 receptions, 1,200 yards, and 10 TD written all over him.

hadn't heard a thing on this..surprised no one is talking this one up.
Don't think anyone actually expected him to sit out at all with 9.5 mil on the table. He already has a solid repoire with Cassell.
:goodposting: if Bowe pays attention to business and plays like an elite receiver, he'll earn a big extension IMO. And 9.5 million isn't chicken feed...most veterans hate the first weeks of training camp, it's worth noting Bowe is coming in in time to practice before the week three preseason "dress rehearsal" game...I'm not moving him up my board, though, as he missed the installation of the new offense in OTAs and the first part of camp - will reserve judgement until I see him perform on the field... my :2cents:
