Brandon Marshall... *decent* WR2 at best. (1 Viewer)

He's starting to look like Randy Moss and TO out there with the Gator arms. Typical primidonna WR. All mouth and no back bone. Like someone else already said, I can see him milking this hammy issue for the rest of the season. He sucks. No better than a #2 or #3 WR for the forseeable future. He needs to grow up...maybe hang around Mike Vick for a while and figure out the game.

What a rough year to be a Marshall owner. It is crazy to think how good he could have been this year if he stayed in Denver with Orton being so hot this year.

Not sure how long the hamstring injury will sideline him but I think it is time to cut bait with Marshall. Even if he is healthy there is no QB to get him the ball and he just can't find the endzone anyways.

I'll say this after just watching all of the Marshall plays again - Thigpen WAS the answer. Marshall was getting great looks. He made a stupid decision on the personal foul (out of bounds right in front of his old QB Cutler and tossed him the ball). He also had two drops that were placed perfectly. He could have had 60+ yards in the half and was en route to a really nice game if not for the injury...

In one of my leagues, a multi-player trade just went down involving, essentially, Marshall for Owens. I own Marshall in another redraft league, and would love to ship him out for somebody like Owens. Before last night's game, I'd probably sell him for a lot less, actually. I didn't get to watch the game last night, so it is tough to gauge his potential value with Thigpen. Can he realistically turn in top-10 WR numbers from here on out?

ETA: In redraft, I thought seriously over the last few weeks about trading him, but what held me back was his Wk 15 and 16 matchups against Buffalo and Detroit. With those matchups and the targets he has been getting, I figured he has WR1 potential as much as anyone I could get for him.I have the luxury of having picked up B.Lloyd on WW so Marshall will just ride the pine for me and hopefully turn it on at the end of the year. But trading him now in redraft would yield very little in return, IMO.

If he bounces back from the hammy soon...then yes he has some big games in store. But everything depends on his hammy. I venture to say out at least one game. And it would probably be smart to keep him out at least one game.

Agree Totem - The hammy injury really is the last thing we all needed... Lets just hope it's not a Malcolm Floyd style hammy injury. Like others here, I just want him to get back for week 14 so that I can *consider* using him for weeks 15 and 16.

Seems to be one of those hush hush injuries. I am sure he is out this Sunday and probably would be a game time decision for week 13 and maybe even 14. If Miami wins the next 2 game I could see them pushing him on the field for week 14 against the Jets.

This is all just off the top of my head though.
