Since 2005, Drew Brees is 0-5 in games where the kickoff-time temperature is less than 45 degrees.
He carries a 79.0 passer rating in those games as well. Sunday's forecast in the nation's capital calls for temperatures in the low 40s, though Saturday's snow and rain is expected to be over by game time. The Redskins also have the NFL's No. 2 ranked pass defense, so it's not setting up for a big passing day.

Interesting fact about DB

Well, he just threw a 'perfect" game. Only the 14th since 1970, I think, or something close.People keep forgetting: the Saints' defense. The Skins inept offense will present plenty of opportunities to the Saints offense.
Also what teams was he playing for and against?
Chicago playoff game? Ok, but weather had little to do with that game.
2 games vs BUF & KC in 2002 when with the Chargers? Hardly convincing vs now.

What are the other two games?

Yes the Saints D who is 18th vs the pass and 19th vs the run, very impressive!

Where are the Saints on turnover ratio? Where are the Skins on that?= Opportunities.

Just for the sake of what was a great thread:there were two points here:
1. Would Brees do well (FF wise, or generally)? and
2. Would the Saints win or lose?
Brees did well. The stat about him being 0-5 in cold weather was a false one: 2 of those games came with the Chargers way back when, two came with the Saints in Chicago, one in the NFCC.
That being said, Brees was underperforming and the Skins could have won this game 30-10.
However, the Saints are looking at home playoff advantage - excellent, favors Saints, so what about being a bad cold weather team from here on out (except maybe that Carolina game in Week 17).
The turnovers!
Vilma had the pick at the end of regulation.
The freak fumble recovery off the rare shanked punt from Morestead.
The steal-`n-run by Meach (yes, that counts).
The fumble recovery by McAlister to put the game in Hartley's hands (foot) in OT.
The missed FG by Suisham - the Saints had a man (Jenkins?) coming in from the Skins' left side, forcing Suisham to push the kick right.
The long drive by Brees at the end of regulation and the quick strike just-dialed-it-up bomb to Meach for the tie. Think just any team, just any QB, does that?
This was good football by a team that never lost its confidence that was well coached in ALL PHASES doing what such teams do.
