Breida or Coleman Week 1 Flex? (1 Viewer)

Drafted both at value. 0.5 ppr league.  Looking to fill flex (league is 1 qb, 2wr, 2rb, te, wr/rb/te, kicker, defense.

Staring lineup is Winston, Beckham, Lockett, Chubb, Carson, McDonald, Elliot (k), Dallas D.

Any other thoughts for flex with my bench? C.Ridley, Watkins, Justice Hill, Dak Prescott, AJ Green (IR), MVS.

It sounds like Breida will start but Coleman will share.  Consensus in fantasy community is that Coleman is the guy to play for fantasy though and in PPR I would go with Coleman.

If you can start a QB in the flex then I would go with Dak

Completely disagree with above answer (no offense).  Most Podcasts recommendations are going with Breida, despite what rankings show.  Not that those are the gospel, but Breida is listed as #1 on depth chart, and has shown he can succeed (and did so last year against pretty much the same exact defense), with minimal touches.  (17 touches, 106 rushing yds, 3 rec for 34 yds).  Coleman didn't show anything in the preseason, and I think he is getting too much credit for being under Shanahans system previously.  Completely different team.  I do expect Coleman to get his fair share of touches, and both should produce, but I think Breida's upside is the better bet.

I'd go Coleman. I think they split pretty equally, but Coleman(at least for now) seems like the safer bet. I fully expect Breida to be the better player over the course of the season though.

I would go with Breida because he has a looked like the superior talent, and the main knock against him is injury, and he is not injured for week 1.
