I agree.Hypothetically (because Favre isn't returning), the following could be good landing spots:
Minnesota: 44 year old Favre is likely better than Ponder. A blacksmith-armed Favre reunited with Jennings and paired with an athletic deep threat like Simpson could vive this Minnesota's passing game.
Tampa or Jacksonville: Favre is an old, Southern boy who hates the cold. A Southern hot-spot would likely be his preferred landing place. Both the Bucs and the Jags look like they have little to play for this year. Favre could give Jags fans a reason to come to the games, and Favre could change the spirit of what sounds like a depressing Bucs locker room.
It would be like watching someone play Madden and one of those history scenarios. His first game back people would turn on their TV and think that the channel was on ESPN Classics.
Packers have a heinous #2 QB situation. I'm pretty sure that right now Favre is the unofficial #2 QB behind Aaron Rodgers. If Rodgers went down with a season-ending injury Favres phone would be ringing in 30 seconds.

I won't rule out a Favre return until he's dead. Not one minute sooner. Heck, I might even wait a year or 2 after that just to make sure he doesn't come back as a zombie or something.
