It was fun. Glad both teams conducted themselves with class, no sparks at all really. I'm certain we'll see these two teams in contention again in 2012.

Yep, I was happy to see that the series never got ugly. Aside from that idiot Morgan, the Brewers are mostly a good group of guys.

He's going to pitch Carp in game 6 on 3 days rest if it goes back to Mil. I hate that decision, and I really hope it doesn't come to that.

Why would he pitch game 6 if they are up 3-2? or even if they are down 3-2? That would make no sense at all. The only reason Carpenter pitched on 3 days rest against Philly, is so he could pitch again in Game 5. It worked out perfect.Jackson will pitch game 6, and Carpenter will pitch game 7. I can guarantee that.

That wasn't a guess as to what was going to happen. Miklasz wrote about it as though TLR had already made the decision regardless. Apparently he either got it wrong or LaRussa changed his mind. I agree with you that it would have made no sense.
