Doesn't make any sense. Poor OBP. Only plays CF. Has to sit out 25 games.

So are they playing with 24 guys for the first month in this case?Doesn't make any sense. Poor OBP. Only plays CF. Has to sit out 25 games.

Makes a lot more sense than most think. They get a huge upgrade in CF with the glove and bat. Hall gets moved to 3B,LF or in a trade to improve on of the previuos spots. Gross and others can fill in CF while he is out.Doesn't make any sense. Poor OBP. Only plays CF. Has to sit out 25 games.

Cameron's skills are declining with his age, so while he's an upgrade over Hall defensively this year it can't be called "huge." Hall showed a lot of improvement last year, and it will continue this year. The only two cases this makes any sense are if they're trading Hall or they've decided they're going to just say "#### it, we're going to hit even more home runs."hauser42 said:Makes a lot more sense than most think. Ideally they need a lefty with a good OBP who can play 3rd.
No, Cameron just can't be on the active roster.I like Bill Hall better in Center as the season went on. I don't want Cameron, as his best days are behind him. I don't think the Brewers should pay players in their decline years. They can't afford to it with the core of Fielder, Weeks, Hardy, Hall, and Braun all hitting free agency in a couple of years. So are they playing with 24 guys for the first month in this case?Doesn't make any sense. Unfortunately, has Mike Cameron, short of one night in Chicago a few years ago, ever been capable of lightening? I don't know, I guess he could pop a few in that park, and if Braun is that big of a butcher its worth it, but otherwise, I don't get it.If Cameron is signed to a 1 year deal, you might be able to squeeze a "lightning in a bottle" year from him like the Sox did with Ellis Burks years ago. Cameron is easily among the top 5 defensive CF's in baseball, so he would be a huge help for Ryan Braun while he learns to play LF.Anything over 1 year would be a disaster of Jeffrey Hammonds proportions.
The Brewers might have just enough offense to hide a K machine like Cameron, but it's a close call.Unfortunately, has Mike Cameron, short of one night in Chicago a few years ago, ever been capable of lightening? He will be out of PETCO so his offense will go up and his defense and other moves will upgrade the all around defense. The Brewers might have just enough offense to hide a K machine like Cameron, but it's a close call.Unfortunately, has Mike Cameron, short of one night in Chicago a few years ago, ever been capable of lightening? And this is why this is a nice move. Braun was a butcher of epic proportions at 3B.Brewers signed Cameron to a one year deal ($ not released) today
Plans are to move Hall to 3B and Braun to LF per fantasybaseball.com and ESPN
