Brian Tyms-Any Info (1 Viewer)

Here's the info:

He's a NE player. None of which can be trusted on a weekly basis. Trade him away if possible. If not, you'll be dropping him for the next "great NE WR".

Yep, I got burned by Belicheck...again. I picked Tyms up and proceeded to put him in my lineup against a juicy matchup. Serves me right. I've been chasing the points all year and it's led me to a 1-6 record.

Would be so happy if I could trade away all my NE players so they can be someone elses headaches. Would not surprise me in the least if Tyms is deactivated next week and Aaron Dobson is activated. :wall:
You didn't get "burned by Belichick," you picked up a player who was on the field for 8 snaps last week and put him in your starting lineup based on one play.
No. It's Belicheck and his assinine, over the top, overanalyzing mind games as it has been all season...

"WR Brian Tyms earned "rave reviews" from Bill Belichick and Josh McDaniels earlier this week.

Tyms only played eight snaps against the Bills last week, but made his mark with a 43-yard touchdown. Those that watched the preseason closely weren't surprised, as Tyms ripped off a 11-188-2 line while grading out as PFF's No. 1 wideout. It appears he'll be active again Thursday night, possibly at the expense of Aaron Dobson. Tyms needs to be rostered in all Dynasty formats and should at least be on re-draft watch lists."

Tyms and Wright are the "two hardest working guys in the game"...yet don't sniff the field. Ya got me Billy boy.
:lmao:

Yeah, Belichick is the one playing asinine, over-the-top over-analyzing mind games.

seriously. Surprised he got 1 win with roster suicide moves like that
LOL! Go back to your 8 team redraft league.
I'm in a 24 team league PPR dynasty league (two mirror 12 team leagues that can meet in the Super Bowl lately) in which we start 22 players (11 of which are offense) and because of the cap set up, roster between 40-60 players per team. Tyms was picked up last week (for a $0 waiver claim) and was not starting in either league.

So it's funny to tell someone to "go back to your 8 team redraft league" but I'm pretty sure that you're the only person in the galaxy that started Tyms. If you're not, I'm quite certain you're the only one that would blame Belichick for you doing so.

LOL! Oooh, so basically a 12 team dynasty. I wasn't telling you to go back to your 8 team league. What part of me being 1-6 makes you think my roster is in anyway set? After all the love the mad scientist Belicheck threw on Tyms and Wright I figured I'd throw Tyms in my lineup since they were going against the 30th ranked secondary in the league. How is that not a decent move? Especially since I obviously have an underperforming roster this year. Oh! Wait! Because it's Belicheck...duh! He will play less talented guys just because he doesn't think the other team will game plan them. Sure, it's worked in the past. But it's started to get exposed. He does the same thing with the defense. They damn near lost to the Jets for God's sake...let that settle in for a minute. Does that give you a warm fuzzy as a Pats fan? I've been making the mistake of playing Pats players since I keep thinking they gotta have someone produce...but they don't. Who on that Pats offense do you feel confident in starting? Maybe Gronk in a PPR, but he's not performing like he has in the past. You can't start a WR or RB from that team with any confidence. Now in my 32 team league (32 is bigger than 12 and it's NOT mirrored) I roll with Vereen since starters are hard to come by in that league and I'm 7-1. If I could trade Vereen for anything of decent value I WOULD IN A HEART BEAT just so I wouldn't have to deal with Belichecks games.

To sum it up, I won't be starting any NE players from here on out (with the exception of Vereen in my 32 teamer). Tyms (and Wright (and Dobson)) will just tease you. Even if Tyms were to become Randy Moss I don't think Belicheck would give him snaps.

someones salty. But it still doesnt change the fact he had LESS THAN 10 SNAPS LAST WEEK. When bill didnt increase wrights snaps after his awesome performance who would in their right mind roll a guy out there that had less than 10 snaps?

LOL! Yes. I am a little bitter this morning. :) Actually, been bitter towards BB for a while now.

We can probably all agree that there is nothing to see here with Tyms. Just a preseason and taxi squad darling. I want no part of the Pats skill players this year.

I'm still holding out hope somewhat on Lafell as a WR 3/4. He's showing a little something the last 3...Snaps are up...

I was tempted to say something earlier, but belichick has good things to say about everybody, so i wouldn't let that influence you.

He said a lot of the same about haynesworth right before he was cut

Not to say it isn't true, but i wouldn't make decisions based on that

There should be some kind of rule where if you do this celebration or that rarely seen "Superman" thing, at least three people should know who you are.
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: this has got to be straight up trolling

I'm pretty sure you were calling some guy an idiot in some thread 'cuz he made a post just like this one and didn't get hester's hommage to his mentor, now you're the :whoosh: guy? gtfo

kid made a tremendous catch to score his first big league td in his first big league game ---- I couldn't give 2 ####s about td celebrations, but that one was just awesome.

reminded me a little bit of one of my fav larry bird stories.

you'd have to be dead inside to not appreciate that moment.

Coach in Oak w/ Randy Moss told me once they called a route breaking over the dirt, Moss kept running (INT). His response "I don't do the infield"
Quite a guy to idolize.

Sounds like an urban legend - quoting an unidentified coach who "told me" something that Moss said that conveniently fits the preexisting perception of his work ethic.

Yeah, this guy's gonna just make that up.

This guy was money when Garoppolo was the starter in preseason could we see that again this year with the Brady suspension? Anybody still holding or know more?
