Brian Westbrook (1 Viewer)

When healthy, Brian Westbrook is as productive as any rb in the league. Will he continue to miss an occasional game, or has he settled into an elite role?

Any thoughts?

Honestly, most likely both. The good news --from FF standpoint only -- is that the Eagles are not running away with the division, so those of us with week 17 championships have less risk of him being rested.

Brian Westbrook owner: "He's healthy now and should stay that way, especially with their bye week coming up"

non-Brian Westbrook owner: "He can't stay healthy and he never will. Glad I didn't waste a pick on that bozo"

Who knows if he will hold up. The best we can hope for is that Philly remains in close games and remains in a fight for their playoff seed. Cross your fingers and hope that he can handle the touches.

Well, the knee issue appears to be behind him for the most part. He's practiced all week without problems and looks great every Sunday. Predicting any future injuries would be pure speculation at this point.

Bottom line, the man is an elite player and you should make every effort to get him on your team if the price is low because his owner is panicky. Just make sure you have a decent backup at the ready just in case.

He seems to be enjoying his best health of the season. After a bye next week he should be good to go for the stretch run.

You sure you don't want him? You sound good as a Westbrook owner.... :D

1. Ride him to the playoffs if ya got him.

2. Hopefully, you drafted players like Addai who should blossom towards the end of the year in case you know what happens. The production drop off will hurt, but you will still have power there. I drafted Westbrook and Addai in two leagues with this thought in mind.
