Brian Westbrook (1 Viewer)

Is there a decent insurance policy for Brian Westbrook? I don't think Cornell Buckhalter (out last week) cuts it as a handcuff the way K2 does for Addia, Turner for LT2 etc.

Westbrook seems to do well in a system that does not naturally produce where some of the other RBs are helped by their system (e.g. Addai).

Don't get me wrong Addai is an incredible talent, but that system can produce with K2 whereas Westbrook does well with a mediocre system that wouldn't likely produce without him.

Right now my insurance policy is to have as many WR stud potential players as I can (Terry Glenn, Chris Henry, Stallworth) all have superstud potential if someone else gets injured. My hope is that I don't need insurance. Failing that, I hope that one of them become a stud in their system and I can use that as insurance.

Any thoughts? How are you insuring this stud?

You insure your stud with his backup. How else can you insure him? You cant have your backup as an Addai or a Tomlinson.

And I would stack my team with as many great WRs even if Westbrook was the healthiest player.

I really dont understand the topic or question to be honest

Buckhalter did pretty well from a fantasy perspective when Westbrook was out. He's the handcuff.

Westbrook is the best player on the Eagles. He is the best running back in the NFC. The Eagles don't have a guy who can replace him adequately - frankly, there aren't a lot of RB's in the NFL who are similar enough to replace him.Buckhalter is the guy to own, though, as he'll start.

Buck is a Number 2 back in PPR leagues. The only reason he doesnt start is because he plays behind Westy. There are several teams Buck could start for. So your question is very foolish, if only you took some time to review.
