**Broncos at Texans**(-2, 40) 1:00 (2 Viewers)

Texans are going to build on last week, Denver not quite the same team on the road, like the Texans to get back to .500

Texans 20...Broncos 17
Defensive struggle is my prediction although 40 is a pretty darn low number, not suggesting you go under, take the Texans or pass the game is my opinion

Nico Collins back, Patrick Surtain out probably swings this one for me.

I think Bo Nix has some success spreading the ball around, but I think its very dink and dunk and no real big plays. I think Houston mostly shuts down the run game, and we see an interesting matchup between Will Anderson and Mike McGlinchey that doesn't favor Denver.

Kris Abrams-Draine is going to be filling on for Surtain, and I imagine Huston looks to get him matched up with Nico as often as possible. Like Houston, Denver also has a scary matchup going their way, as rookie Aireontae Ersery matches up against Nik Bonitto.

Houston-20
Denver-17

I’m feeling a Houston win. 19 to 16.

It’s possible that Denvers pass rush overwhelms the Houston offense and makes the Surtain absence irrelevant. If this happens Denver wins by ten.

Eh, y’all are much more confident in the Texans chances than me. They’ve been completely shutdown on offense by strong pass rushes and this is one of the best in the league. Comes down to turnovers, Denver pass rushers will get home probably frequently, Stroud can’t afford to give up almost safeties/fumbles for TD’s like against Seattle. I hope I’m wrong but I think this may turn into a rout early, but if Houston can keep from turning the ball over a bit closer: 20-12 Denver

Houston drives to start, converts multiple 3rd and longs, a 4th down, almost gets to RZ then a sack on 3rd and a missed 51 yard FG by Fairbairn

False start was probably good for the Texans, i don't think Stroud got in on the 4th down sneak, looked like the snap was bobbled too

Another uncreative four down goal line effort by Caley. It's like he doesn't realize our OL gets no push yet still goes with the same ol' bs. A little play action perhaps? Something other than just running it up the gut. It's like f'n Groundhog Day ova here

Nix is having a horrible time getting the ball to the sidelines... he's leaving it on the inside hash where the defender has a shot. He threw a ball to Franklin earlier that if he threw to the sideline only Franklin catches it, and it was broken up because he left it inside. Same thing on that INT, Sutton was WIDE OPEN and the ball was left in.

I feel like the rush is bothering him a bit, but he's just not accounting for where the secondary and passcatchers are and adjusting. He's not giving the passcatchers a chance.

Apparently RT Tytus Howard is being evaluated for a concussion and RG Ingram questionable with an ankle injury. The Texans offense is dropping like flies

Holy smokes!!!

Edit: Denver punt returner badly misjudged it and muffed, Houston gets another FG to end the half
