Broncos sign three players

By Associated Press

May 30, 2006

DENVER — The Denver Broncos signed three players out of the NFL Europe league on Tuesday, including running back Marty Johnson who helped Utah reach its highest national ranking after the 2004 season.

Johnson led the Berlin Thunder and ranked fifth in NFL Europe in rushing yards this past season with a 4.2 yards a carry average. He had been out of football since leading the Mountain West Conference and tying for 16th in the nation with 14 rushing touchdowns with Utah in 2004.

So here you go, Dayne haters. You've got another name to add to the list of Cobbs and Sapp as guys to pick up because you know that Dayne can't succeed as the #1 RB in DEN.

what are the chances that marty johnson usurps both dayne and bell for the starting gig...?

marty johnson will most likely be on someones practice squad then playing any down on sundays

I still think the Cleveland connection will send Suggs to Denver to further cloud the issue. Shanahan, that evil rat *******, is not happy unless we fantasy players are confused and miserable. As proof I offer his cheesy radio commercials for Tice Diamond Jewlers where even he mocks the cloudiness of his starting backfield.

That would be so confounding, so annoying, and so befuddling regarding the Denver RB situation that it almost certainly will come to pass.
