Broncos vs Bills - Week 12 (1 Viewer)

Bills are going to have to back up the Brinks trucks for Milano and White this offseason. I know they’re all excited about and high in Edmunds, but he is still more projection than production. Milano is already an absolute stud.

Allen has GOT to have a better internal clock. I like that he hung in the pocket on that 3rd down, but with that many guys coming, he has to pull the trigger and either find a guy or throw it away.

Excellent drive though.

Milano is absolutely a difference-maker.

Bills need to start passing some on first down. Denver strong against the run and Bills seem predictable on 1st right now.

Backbreaking holding penalty on that Gore run down inside the 1.

Edit: Sure enough, that took 4 points off the board.

That end around has been money so many times for the Bills this year. And great job going play action on first down. Great pass by Allen on that giving Beasley an opportunity to turn upfield and get a bunch of YAC.

Bills racking up a ton of yards on long drives but have to settle for FGs. The hold killed them that time. Gonna need to keep it up but convert the TDs on some of these. Too often see teams with long clock chewing drives end up with FGs and suddenly a broken play or ST play and the opponent grabs a lead with a big play TD.

A more positive spin on this is that the Bills have had only two possessions, each of which started at or inside their own 10.  They scored on both.

Bills have absolutely dominated this game so far. The penalties have been hurting Buffalo though. Most of them have been the dumb variety too.

There’s Bad Josh. Looked like he never got a good grip and he air mailed it. And now Broncos setup to make a few plays and take a lead before end of the first half.

Bills keep beating themselves today.

Thank goodness White picked that off. Sutton was wide open.

Going back to the holding penalty on 1st down, I would love to know the analytics of accepting a hold after you’ve just tackled a guy for a loss of 3 in that situation. Broncos promptly make it 2nd and 9 after an 11 yard gain in first down instead of 2nd and 13.

That situation seems to have come up in our games a lot this year.

The Bills have zero clue how to run a two minute offense. They have repeatedly screwed it totally up. I really really don’t understand how they mess it up over and over and over again.

I see the run game is gaining yards, just not much in points.  They need to open up pass game a bit, right?
Broncos have played mostly 2 deep safeties and doubling Brown. Broncos have been covering well and forced Allen to eventually take off and run on a few plays when nothing was there. They’ve been pretty successful running the ball so far.

On one hand the Bills running the ball every 1st down has allowed Denver to shut it down for the most part. On the other hand, when Buffalo has gone play action on 1st down it has lead to nice gains.

Foster hurt :(  That sucks. He was having a nice day with some big plays. Probably done for a month on that. Duke Williams gonna get another chance on the big stage on Thanksgiving.

Feliciano was a pretty fantastic signing.  Came cheap, greatly upgraded the interior of the line, and he's been clutch filling in for Morse as needed.

I’m not sure if it’s poor design, poor execution, or teams just having guys up to defend against the Allen runs, but the screen passes for the Bills this year have been all universally awful.

And GREAT throw by Allen. Stood in the pocket until the last minute nice and calm, went through his reads, and threaded one to Beasley in stride for the TD.

That's an NFL TD throw right there.....Allen takes a shot on that one.
Everything you want to see right there. Stood in versus the rush, remained calm, went through his reads, and then fit the ball in a tight spot to the receiver in stride. Other than the awful INT, he has been really good today.

And that was just a bad throw and bad decision on that 3rd down pass by Josh. But the drive really was ranked by the hold.

That pass absolutely should've been picked, but if Brown catches that one on second down, the Bills are in 3rd and inches.  Wasn't a great throw but was 100% catchable.

Here comes the weekly edition of "let's get really conservative and let the other team hang around while we try to hold a small lead".
