**Browns at Bears**(-7.5, 38.5) 1:00 (2 Viewers)

I didn't know Shadeur Sanders did what he did last week until about Wed/Thur...seriously I just didn't pay attention
That was outstanding what he did last week with the help of his team
Interesting to see if he can build on that

I think Vegas has this one pretty much on the button. I do want to highlight 2 injuries to higher paid players, that I actually don't hurt either team. Denzel Ward and Tremaine Edmunds are both out, those are 2 of the most overrated players in the NFL, and I don't think it'll make the Bears passing game or the Browns run game any more effective.

Rome Odunze is expected back this week, which to me makes Luther Burden more interesting, as he'll be back in the slot where I think he's better. I expect Ben Johnson to call lots of screens and RPOs to combat the Browns pass rush, because Myles Garrett vs rookie Ozzy Trapilo in longer developing plays, is scary.

I think Shadeur Sanders is in for a rough day. The Browns are now down 4 of their starting 5 OL, and losing Center Ethan Pocic might be the biggest loss of them all. I expect the Bears (who are not a good pass rushing team) to frequently be in the backfield in this one.

Bears-21
Browns-14

You know the announcer has no idea who he's talking about when he says "Sanders has gotten more comfortable staying in the pocket". Dude, he's not friggin Lamar jackson, he's a pocket passer.

That was almost as bad as all those designed run plays for David Garrard.

True thoug isn't one of the concenrs around Sanders is his pocket presence and a tendency to break the pocket, run around in the bafkfiield too much? Or am I wrong?

He stays in the pocket too much to try and target and big play despite not having escapability at the college level a.k.a NFL guys will destroy him if he doesn't break the pocket when pressured. He needs to know when the pass isn't there and give up on the play/run, not that he's running the 1st chance he gets.

He tries to "reverse out" of trouble and often loses an extra 5 yards

The false starts on the skill players aren't helping Cleveland any. It's cold enough out there you'd think these guys wouldn't be jumpy.

EDIT: Chicago is relentlessly blitzing EVERY PLAY. WRs aren't getting open and they want to shake up the rookie.
