I think Vegas has this one pretty much on the button. I do want to highlight 2 injuries to higher paid players, that I actually don't hurt either team. Denzel Ward and Tremaine Edmunds are both out, those are 2 of the most overrated players in the NFL, and I don't think it'll make the Bears passing game or the Browns run game any more effective.
Rome Odunze is expected back this week, which to me makes Luther Burden more interesting, as he'll be back in the slot where I think he's better. I expect Ben Johnson to call lots of screens and RPOs to combat the Browns pass rush, because Myles Garrett vs rookie Ozzy Trapilo in longer developing plays, is scary.
I think Shadeur Sanders is in for a rough day. The Browns are now down 4 of their starting 5 OL, and losing Center Ethan Pocic might be the biggest loss of them all. I expect the Bears (who are not a good pass rushing team) to frequently be in the backfield in this one.
Bears-21
Browns-14

Sanders personality is a lot like his play: messy. He has talent for sure but he is so chaotic. Caleb has that issue sometimes too. This is so hard to watch.
True thoug isn't one of the concenrs around Sanders is his pocket presence and a tendency to break the pocket, run around in the bafkfiield too much? Or am I wrong? You know the announcer has no idea who he's talkign about when he says "Sanders has gotten more comfortable staying in the pocket". Dude, he's not friggin Lamar jackson, he's a pocket passer.
I think if they actually did this, they may be better prepared.do the special teams players just drink beer during practice every day?
He stays in the pocket too much to try and target and big play despite not having escapability at the college level a.k.a NFL guys will destroy him if he doesn't break the pocket when pressured. He needs to know when the pass isn't there and give up on the play/run, not that he's running the 1st chance he gets.True thoug isn't one of the concenrs around Sanders is his pocket presence and a tendency to break the pocket, run around in the bafkfiield too much? He tries to "reverse out" of trouble and often loses an extra 5 yardsTrue thoug isn't one of the concenrs around Sanders is his pocket presence and a tendency to break the pocket, run around in the bafkfiield too much? Caleb has really impressed me with unbelievable athleticism and arm talent. I think he's going to be better than people seem to think.Caleb
He is as talented as any QB in the league. It will all come down to the mental side for him. Being smarter, cutting down on the mistakes, etc. I am with you though, I can see him making several Pro Bowls over his career.Caleb has really impressed me with unbelievable athleticism and arm talent. They're not prepared to play. It's an undisciplined team that lacks accountability. The false starts on the skill players aren't helping Cleveland any. It's cold enough out there you'd think these guys wouldn't be jumpy.
That was a terrible decision to go for it on 4th down. Pin them back and make Sanders try to beat you.Caleb stating at his LT like he expecting him not to stop the rush.
I am open to this, his potential was never the question. If his potential starts aligning with the surrounding talent and play-calling, he will be a top five QB.Caleb has really impressed me with unbelievable athleticism and arm talent. I think he's going to be better than people seem to think.Caleb
