Bucs passing game (1 Viewer)

To me, one of th biggest September disappointments has been the inability of the Bucs passi game to get going. I especially thought Benn might really take that next step. Anybody see some major improvement coming, especially as Benn recovers from the ACL to provide that second legit target?

FWIW, I remember last year people asking the same thing about KC and Bowe last year.

How did that turn out? Sometimes it takes a second to click.

As a Bucs fan I can tell you that there is enough talent at WR to make things happen. It will come eventually just hopefully not too late. The problem thus far has been Freeman. He is less decisive this year and was so amped up to play the Falcons last week that he overthrew at least 3 WRs for large gains that would have really added to their totals. I am not hugely optimistic about this week against the Colts but they should start to get things going in a week or two. This offense will go as far as Freeman can take them.

Detroit and Minny are no slouches on D and the weather wasn't great for the Atlanta game. It stopped raining but the field was wet and both teams were playing conservative. I don't really think the Bucs are ever going to be a pass happy vertical team but they should start doing much better in the coming weeks. #1 priority in Olsens O is to get Blount going to wear out the D with a few deep sots sprinkled in. Mike Williams is a buy low right now imo. He's been getting double teams and is still the #1 target in the passing game.

isn't Freeman usually a 200 and 2TD QB? not a whole lot expectations here right?
Freeman threw for 215 yards per game last year in his first season as a starter. We don't really know what he "usually" does. There is optimism that he will continue to develop into a better passer and we will see a significant bump in his fantasy stats.I think Freeman makes a great buy low target for teams who are in QB trouble or are looking for a high upside backup.

Specifically, then, how about Benn moving forward rest of year? On the Audible they were saying he has trouble gaining separation.
