Bucs vs Titans - Week 8 (1 Viewer)

Jonnu with a nice catch that no one will call a nice catch. Tannehill fired that and Jonnu spun 360 and kept moving forward

Bucs DBs had 2 on 3 matchup and motioning for help but nothing happened

Bucs looking like first preseason game with disorganization, very weird

 
Saffold down injured. Titans have had so many issues filling the RG spot, they don't exactly have a good replacement for left guard against Suh.

Kelly really doesn't play guard for them, but....gotta hope or else it's a problem

pushed Jamil Douglas back where Tanny threw early

then Davis does his diva crud. Tannehill threw it late as announcers said but, he could have totally done a "my ball" catch there

 
Humphries shoved out of bounds, no TD despite catch

overthrew lob to Humphries who was doubled

lob to Sharpe, TD

 
Saffold concussion. How do you get a concussions standing up blocking Suh? Someone's gotta watch tape of that

Titans have two backup guards playing

 
Firkser was very good for spots in games last year with like 2 catches here or 3 there. A clear break for the lead guys but he was a very effective sub. I don't think he's more than that but there's a role to be had.  For some reason the Titans play Jonnu at FB (while Firkser has played FB in college and NFL) so Firkser could make some waves

 
LeShaun Sims, former starter two years ago, covering Evans today doing a great job thus far.

Considerable that he's got the assignment with Ryan, Butler, and Adoree around

 
Millen points out how tired Simmons is and he can't chase Winston down

play before, he shoved the G back then the C. Geesh is he gonna be good

 
Ryan with INT, not a catch but...INT then Godwin hits him, ball comes out and Godwin recovers at the four. Refs called him down by contact but there wasn't any, he just dove. 

I don't think it should be Titans ball

 
Winston up to his usual tricks, lots of turnovers, be happy to salvage 15+ at this point if he can find some guys open in the 2nd half. 

Cue the fiddles

Titans ran twice going nowhere then a throw to AJ with three DBs around

Punt returned very well

Sims playing corner and Jennings inactive cost them there

AJ has only been playing 20-30 plays per game til last week.

He's in but hasn't had a grab. Tannehill hasn't had much time and they have him doing these long routes like the first few weeks. 

For a supposedly awful Bucs D, JPP has improved the pressure and things have to look better

 
Excellent coverage by Brown on the FB

3rd and goal Perriman's motion late and ran into runner tripping/knocking him over

Another first game of preseason vibe

 
Corey Davis? Anyone got a take on this? 1 catch 1 yard, seems like he isn't involved much in the game plan to this point. 

Might need the Bucs to score more before they turn to him with a few more targets.

3 targets, that's not far off, he just hasn't gotten any production. 

Be lucky if he makes it to 40 yds today, this was a big play for many this week, liked what they saw with Tannehill so far. 

 
Lewan stunk there, barret sacked Tanny and he fumbled but Douglas recovered

Parkey hits 51 yarder in his last game

Then Titans revert to their awful zone and Evans makes another catch

Evans to the locker room. Didn't look hurt bad to me

 
Ryan with a sack, holding declined too

Winston all day but Titans covered well

Evans back on field

 
I love ya Byard but that was awful coverage, huge catch by Evans to go from 3rd and 17 to near end zone

 
Evans with a nice move/arm to get past Sims for TD

Bucs for two, Perriman ran out of bounds...dopey again
