Buffalo at Kansas City (1 Viewer)

Reid has to go.  KC has the worst offensive planning in the nfl.  Run up the middle, throw 2 short passes to albert wilson

Love the decision to give the ball to Cadet on third and long.  Nothing screams imaginative, innovative playcalling like a draw to a journeyman third stringer instead of, I dunno, the 5-time Pro Bowler with nearly 10,000 career rushing yards.

Is the Chiefs playcalling as bad as the Bills has been this season?  The Bills offense used to be somewhat competent under the previous coaching staff, not anymore.
The bills have completions of 24 and 16 yards so far this game.  KC has yet to throw it more than 4 yards

I suppose, but the offense has taken a serious step back this season.  Under Greg Roman/Anthony Lynn in the past few years, the offense was in the 10-15 range in terms of points and yards.  This year they're sitting at 19th in points and 26th in yards.

How long until Mahomes comes in?

Never - Reid will keep having alex smith sling it to albert wilson 3 yards from the line of scrimmage until someone fires him

I hope Tyrod gets an opportunity with a real team next year.
It will be a good thing for him.  He's been a class act despite being put in some very negative situations during his time here.  I don't think he'll make a major "step forward", I think this is his ceiling, but I think he can take a team to the playoffs if he has a better surrounding cast and an offensive system more geared to his strengths than what the Bills are doing right now.

Alex Smith is awful.  How was he playing so well at the beginning of this year?  He's a 10 year veteran and he plays like a rookie running QB where he stares down one receiver and then just tries to scramble around.

Both of those last two 3rd downs there were a plethora of options wide open for the first down but he was just staring at the first guy waiting for him to break open until the pocket eventually broke down.  He can't progress through several reads at this point?

I do not agree. In what is shaping up to be a low-scoring game, points will be at a premium.  You take them when you can get them.
 Here's an article with a bunch of historical analysis.  I understand where you're coming from, but I've tried to distance my thought process from the situational "eye test" to a more numbers-driven approach.

Per the ultimate decision-making chart late in the document, a 4th and 2 from approximately the opponent's 15 yard-line is deeply in "go for it" territory.

See, to me, context matters, so the situation does matter.  If you are playing a team that is having major problems on offense, you kick the FG. If you are playing the Patriots or Eagles, you go for it.

Don't know why us Hunt owners thought anything was going to change this game. 5 carries for Hunt. What's wrong with Reid?

This is what happens when you play for field goals, you let good teams hang around.  Weak coaching yet again from the Bills.

Hill just isn't that dependable. I don't know if it's because he's a boom or bust type of player or the Reid factor, but it's tough to rely on this guy every week.

Screen plays have been a staple of Andy Reid for years. I would like to see Hunt get a couple. Could open up lots of things.

Rick Dennison has done with this Bills running game what Rex did to the defense in 2015.....take something that isn't remotely broken, and ruined it.

God this game is dreadful.  Only game on.  In Portland, Or. Nowhere near KC nor Buffalo.  I don't get this decision at all and yet here I am, watching horrendous football like some sort of dope.
