Bulger going forward (1 Viewer)

He's playing hurt that's for sure:

According to the St. Louis Post Dispatch, Marc Bulger initially "looked ... done for the day" after suffering a thumb injury Sunday, but returned after X-rays came back negative.

Bulger also has a bruised knee to go along with his previous cracked ribs, so he's in rough shape heading into the Rams' bye week. "They took him in and X-rayed him," coach Scott Linehan said. "It was pretty sore. At first, he wasn't supposed to get back in, and then he worked through it and said he was able to throw. So we put him back in."

HE's an FA in one of my leagues and I am considering trading away one of my QBs with a mind to pick him up after it's done. What can we expect from week 10 onwards? Is there any danger of him being shut down for the season at any point? Obviously the Rams are out of it.

Their line is beyond horrible. He's going to continue to get the snot beat out of him on a weekly basis. He might be worth a pickup but I wouldn't expect him to do very much.

yeah... u need to seek other options... I'm using a QBBC for the rest of yr with Bulger / Warner / McNair

Personally; I expect SJax to be shutdown very soon and Bulger to be shutdown before week 13.

Then look to buy low on these players.

Is he a injury concern, yes! but I think he is still one of the top QB's in the league. The Rams will be throwing a lot and have a good schedule after this weeks bye. The biggest problem is that he could get knocked out of a game early, but you can not plan on that and he should benefit from the bye week.

Rams schedule, all good matchups vs the pass other than the Steelers

10 at Saints

11 at 49ers

12 vs Seahawks

13 vs Falcons

14 at Bengals

15 vs Packers

16 vs Steelers

I'm planning on using Bulger for Brady's bye (WEEK 10), like Dmac noted...he has some favorable matchups going forward, especially v.s N.O. week 10 :banned:

I think there is something left in the tank...hopefully the bye week will give him some time to get used to that makeshift line and Rams can make some offensive adjustments to be effective.
