He's playing hurt that's for sure:
According to the St. Louis Post Dispatch, Marc Bulger initially "looked ... done for the day" after suffering a thumb injury Sunday, but returned after X-rays came back negative.
Bulger also has a bruised knee to go along with his previous cracked ribs, so he's in rough shape heading into the Rams' bye week. "They took him in and X-rayed him," coach Scott Linehan said. "It was pretty sore. At first, he wasn't supposed to get back in, and then he worked through it and said he was able to throw. So we put him back in."
HE's an FA in one of my leagues and I am considering trading away one of my QBs with a mind to pick him up after it's done. What can we expect from week 10 onwards? Is there any danger of him being shut down for the season at any point? Obviously the Rams are out of it.
