Bush's statement contradicts a report from earlier this week that he would miss the rest of the year. Though a return to action this season still seems unlikely, head coach Sean Payton will likely be more inclined to bring Bush back if the Saints stay in playoff contention.

I think, from a fantasy football perspective, it's safe to rule him out. Even if he is able to play next week, most fantasy football finals, he probably wouldn't be effective any way. He may come back for the NFL play-offs, but that doesn't do fantasy football any good unless you're in a dynasty league. I dropped him and picked up Stecker in a redraft league.
