Last game... when Nanee, Gates and Floyd all were out.. Didn't Davis get in the game w/Crayton? Crayton got the passes coming his way... Davis--not so much. Despite the small sample size to evaluate... I think you're eyes are 20/20 on this.Crayton looked good last game. Looks like he's made strides in picking up the offense. Nanee and Davis don't impress me at all when I watch them. I'm going to defer to my eyes and go with Crayton to keep it up if Floyd misses more time.
I hear you. I'm just saying he looked good on the field. Not like the guy I remembered in Dallas. Looked quick and confident.Last game... when Nanee, Gates and Floyd all were out.. if you mean he caught the passes his way ya. rivers did throw to davis a 8 times tho, so its not like he was invisible. crayton had 7 targets.ft_ball_fn said:Last game... when Nanee, Gates and Floyd all were out.. certainly not on clayton.LOCO said:Which one are you burning your waiver claim on?
he sounds very doubtful at this pointLeeroy Jenkins said:Is Floyd already out?
Same here - Crayton went for $115 real freakin' dollars in a waiver wire bidding war. I got Davis for $10 instead. Hoping for a decent game..I wanted Crayton, but ended up with Davis. I would guess that each week will be different, they will likely be getting a similar amount of targets....just depends what they can do with it.
Talent? Yes. Heart? None. I don't know if I've ever seen a WR less interested in putting forth a bit of effort to catch a ball in the end zone or the red zone as Buster Davis in that game against the Raiders.Looks like Naanee is out also from what I read and the Buster Davis looks in line to start... with Rivers at the helm in a pass happy offense, how can you ignore the opportunity here for Davis? With all of the byes etc, he has to be worth a look.I think the consensus is the guy has some talent. Now, meet opportunity?
What is his long term outlook? Does he get his shot within the next year?I'd feel more comfortable with Crayton in a PPR league. Davis has more long-term upside.
