Buy low, sell high? Playoff adds? (1 Viewer)

Anyone looking ahead to who to try and acquire in a trade?

In reading Waldman’s top ten he doesn’t seem high on Tyler Warren said teams should be able to stop his scripted plays been saying it for weeks and finally Pittsburgh did.

McBride would be the only other TE I’d want but he has a tough playoff schedule against TEs?

Chase Brown playoff schedule is nice. Plus on bye this week so might be able to get from a team needing a win.

I also worry about players on bad teams being “shut down” if they get a minor injury.

I've been noting all year that Tampa Bay has just one "cold-weather" game remaining this season, week 11 in Buffalo. They are Home this week and play all their other games in the states of Florida, California, and North Carolina for the rest of the season. Good tiebreaker for any close calls or questionable decisions.

I’m planning on rostering their defense for a nice end of season and playoff run schedule.

Their D has been sneaky good outside of the game against Seattle. 4th in turnovers and 9th in sacks. A couple return TDs and two more that should have been as well.

I don't have Jacobs on anything, but best ball teams, however I would sell high. He has been dealing with a calf strain most of the year, the Packers have been getting Wilson quite a few carries to help with his workload, and I think losing Kraft hurts.

If I had a loaded team I would package him with a good receiver and try to go get Achance, CMC, Taylor etc. If I am struggling with depth I would send him for a Chase Brown, Dowdle, Javonte and a guy I could play in my flex.

Or keep him and add Wilson

Wilson isn't available in my leagues and not sure how that helps if splitting carries.

I can flip a 1st next year in redraft (modified) for Jamyr Gibbs

I'm a little torn because i already have Breece Hall, Javonte Williams, Achane. My wrs are Jefferson, Brown, Sutton. ON the bench I have Etienne, Harvey, Vidal, Pittman

So the team is really solid - is the 1st worth the extra kick from Gibbs (is there even a kick with that oline)

This is what I'm doing. Packers in 1st place in a crowded division. Jacobs is an elite goal line back for a decent offense. Decent defense. They gonna run him to win. If he does break, you go from an elite rb1 guy to at least an rb3 guy. Giddy up
Wilson probably an RB2 if Jacobs misses time.

I am not talking about if Jacobs misses time. I am saying if they continue to work this backfield the same. His name and the fact he has scored a lot of touchdowns means you can sell high incase regression comes or the Packers offense get worse with Kraft out.

Ya. I can't speak for Payne, but we kinda took your comment and branched out to another topic. Ha ha

Fairbairn is in a dome all 3 games

And is also hurt and questionable this week. If healthy, I agree. Both good options down the stretch.

AJ Brown and/or Devonte Smith - now passed trade deadline risks, their ROS matchups are sweet and spicy, sans the Chargers; even in that matchup, it could/should be a shootout... You are also likely dealing with owners who have been pissed at these two for months not weeks, and may be primed to let them go at reasonable cost.

Piggy backing off of this - the Barkley owner is probably rather upset their no1 pick us currently a rb2 and will be willing to move from him. Last game before the bye Barkley finally bust some long runs, so there's a potential for a post bye revival.

I just read somewhere else on the internet that, "Since merger, only 1 team has allowed more points through 9 games than the Bengals this year."

The Bengals play the following teams in the fantasy playoffs:

14 Ravens
15 Dolphins
16 Cardinals

So, stock up on all of the players you can from those three teams.

Personally, being 8-1 in my main league and likely getting a week 14 bye, I'm considering moving LJ before my league's trade deadline, and picking up Jacoby Brissett for that fantasy championship. With my record, I have the luxury to customize my squad for the playoffs.

In my standard league I literally can't buy a wide receiver.

I want a premium wide receiver basically. A top 10 guy and I have offered Gibbs, Javonte, Dowdle and Judkins for all of them. No buyers. The replacement value is just not there. People are expecting more from Isaiah Davis than they are from whatever wr3 they'll replace their top guy with and the difference in points someone like Gibbs probably gives on top.

Never known a season like it tbh. Always thought that hoarding RB's was the way because the best of them were always good trade chips but the relative value I'm seeing this season is not there.

I'm probably going to end up offering a top 6 running back for a wr2 like DK Metcalf simply for the value in my lineup, not because the deal offers any sort of fair value.

Funny...I"m looking to do the opposite and get a decent RB and somebody just offered me Javonte Williams for my Pickens.

The Good that had a down performance:
Who are the buy low RB targets?

So difficult to pry away any RB from anyone.

Josh Jacobs
Jahmyr Gibbs
Ashton Jeanty
Javonte Williams

Speculative guys off injury:
Omarion Hampton
Quinshon Judkins

Bargain Bin:
JCM
Jordan Mason

Pacheco
Tyrone Tracy

That's about what they are ranked too so you need to tier them.

Yup. I have offers in for both Jacobs and Gibbs. Doubt they'll bite.

Currently have an offer to buy Javonte for Pickens. I'm RB hungry.

I'm not trading those guys for basically anyone.

I’m having trouble wrapping my brain around trading a first next year in a redraft. That seems very strange.

Explain to me how that first group is a buy low.

I think he is basing it on their last week's games were sub-par. I don't see how that makes them a buy low but maybe there is someone out there that would cut bait for less than value after one bad week. I am sure it has happened before.

Trey Bendon should be pretty, pretty cheap.

I keep seeing a ton of players I have listed as terrible playoff matchups.

CMC
Tyler Warren
McConkey/Chargers pass game.

Not seeing it with Warren. Indy has a nice playoff schedule @Jax, @SEA, SF, JAX. Pass yards against team defense rankings 27, 18, 20, 27. Specifically against TEs those teams are ranked 30, 21, 9, 30

I disagree here. Jacobs has been dealing with a calf injury but looked really good last week. I think Wilson was used more while Jacobs was fighting the calf but looks to be on the mend. Great playoff schedule if you have a week 15 bye to avoid Denver. Kraft could hurt but I think Jacobs will be leaned on even more due to Kraft and getting healthier.

It's kind of modified keeper league i just didn't feel like i getting into the long description. Gibbs can't be kept though because he was taken in the first
