So who are everyone's best buy low wide receivers at this point of the season? Who's going to have a big second half?
Think you missed that opportunity. He had a good game today.i would go after Chad Johnson if his owner is getting frustratedHe was open several times deep today and Palmer missed him, as the season goes on and Palmer gets healthier (which I dont think he REALLY is right now) I think he will begin hitting Chad on some of those.
This is who I'm targetting in a couple of leagues. There's not a better WR getting worse numbers than Chambers, IMO. I'll be offering up #3 RBs and WRs for him and see what happens.I'll trade you Chris Chambers for an unchewed stick of gum....
Totally disagree. I think Manning saw Harrison battling with Champ on one side and Wayne destroying the other corner (forgot name) on the other side and the decision was easy. Manning will probably feed Marvin quite well the next game.' date='Oct 29 2006, 07:35 PM' post='5814166']I'd say Marvin Harrison, but I suspect that this is more of a trend.
I am curious as to what leads you to believe he will be valuable?I will agree with you and maybe even give him a little more credit when I say that I consider him among the top 5-7 most talented WRs in the game right now. Now, his habit of dropping easy balls is supplemented by one of the most inaccurate QBs in the league.Do you really believe that a WR who catches 45% of the balls thrown to him will suddenly improve when a QB who completes about 55% of his passes starts throwing to him? And this is assuming he will be getting looks. If I'm Harrington, and I'm a terrible QB who can't put the ball on the mark, I'm going to throw to the most sure-handed receivers I can (McMichael, Brown) rather than some guy who is a coin-flip to make a catch.Do you feel like Harrington and Chambers will develop some chemistry over the stretch? Or do you think Culpepper will get healthy and come back and lead this team to a late winning streak? This is who I'm targetting in a couple of leagues. Things Baltimore's Offense is poised to do:- Win games on the strength of their defenseDerrick Mason has to start producing TDs at some point, he has the looks and the redzone targets, now finally with McNair feeling better, the offense is poised to do something.
I dont think hes much of a TD threat anymore.Derrick Mason has to start producing TDs at some point, he has the looks and the redzone targets, now finally with McNair feeling better, the offense is poised todo something.
He never was much of a TD threat, was he?I dont think hes much of a TD threat anymore.Derrick Mason has to start producing TDs at some point, he has the looks and the redzone targets, now finally with McNair feeling better, the offense is poised todo something.
I was gonna say that but he usually had 7-9 TDs every year.He never was much of a TD threat, was he?I dont think hes much of a TD threat anymore.Derrick Mason has to start producing TDs at some point, he has the looks and the redzone targets, now finally with McNair feeling better, the offense is poised todo something.
Huh, of course, you're right. I just looked it up. I just remember him being solid for recep/yards... I still don't think Mason will be a TD guy in B-more. Heap will be the guy for that....I was gonna say that but he usually had 7-9 TDs every year.He never was much of a TD threat, was he?I dont think hes much of a TD threat anymore.Derrick Mason has to start producing TDs at some point, he has the looks and the redzone targets, now finally with McNair feeling better, the offense is poised todo something.
