Guys curious your thoughts...5x5 roto league and I currently have C. Ruiz at the catcher spot? Navarro had a simliar 2nd have to Martin last season and Snyder who had a pretty good 2nd half last season can rake the ball a bit.....He is also knocking the ball out of the park this spring and can be a sign to come after the strong 2nd half last season. Ruiz didn't do to bad either in the 2nd half and that hitter friendly park should put some pop in his bat....Thought? Are draft is over but Navarro and Snyder are on the waiver wire.

Phillies C. Ruiz

Brewers D. Navarro

Diamondbacks C. Snyder

I read Snyder may be their cleanup hitter
That's crazy if Melvin keeps him there but no matter where he bats, I'd rate them Snyder>Ruiz>Navarro. Even if Navarro repeats his second half numbers, the others are better power threats.

Ruiz is the safest play, Navarro and Snyder are calculated risks. I like them both, but this type of situation is exactly why I target a top 5 catcher. I just don't see a Russell Martin type breakout from anyone this year.

Geovany Soto and JR Towles will outhit all of them. If either is still available, grab them.

Of those three, Snyder may have the most upside but he may be in a platoon once Montero comes back. Ruiz is the safest bet -- he's the clear #1, is in the best lineup, and won't hurt you. I'm not sold on Navarro.

Towles may platoon too, that hammy injury really hurt his chances of earning the full time job.
