Hello everyone, just wanted to get everyones thoughts on what they think as a Season Ticket holder when London comes a calling. I feel that I am safe as the Packers would be stupid to give up a home game but if the NFL starts giving franchises no choice its only a matter of time.

That being said has anyone had to deal with your team moving a home game overseas? What did you do about it if anything?

Biggest Objections:

Fans are forced to buy all tickets including preseason games at full price while the NFL team can just decide to move any game overseas (do the home team season ticket holders get any special tickets if they travel to London?)

Home field while not as big as in College is still a big thing in the NFL and could cost the team a game and playoff position

Personally if the NFL wants games in London so bad they need to just move a team over there already and be done with it, that or move the meaningless preseason games overseas like the UK does with Premiere League Soccer.

Meh...doesn't really bother me. WHile I wouldn't exactly be stoked to see my favorite team lose a home game, I think in general it's good for the NFL and the brand and a game or two over there every year isn't something to get up in arms over.

I'm a Giants season ticket holder, so haven't been faced with this yet. I'd expect to not have to pay for that game. It's kind of lame that teams have to give up a home game but the NFL seems hellbent on forcing this transatlantic stuff so it is what it is. Seems like it's usually the Jaguars so whatever.

as a general fan (no vested interest): i like having another game on sunday. also good for the nfl to expand it's viewing interest.

as a ff owner (living on the west coast): it blows having to get up early for gtd

as a fan of a team playing: do not like a team giving up home field for a game.

if i were a season ticket owner: i would not be happy if i were charged for the game, nor having 1 less game to either attend or sell tix for.

I was a little peeved about losing a home game 2 months ago when I was hopeful the Falcons would be pretty good. Now though, ehhh it was cool to eat breakfast and watch them play a good half.

Hopefully these last couple of minutes work out.

If this becomes routine, I think I am pushed out of football. Too much time, too much feared weakening down of the product.

Better call 911 and report that Goodell is holding you captive and forcing you watch 6:30 am games.

Do season ticket holders have to pay for the games in London? Is that confirmed? If so, that is horrendous.
Since the Falcons are losing a home game next year, how does this affect season ticket prices?

Season ticket holders will receive a renewal statement that will reflect pricing for nine games in 2014.
Only charged for 9 games instead of 10, it does effectively raise the cost of tickets since the preseason games are worthless.
