Can Jax shut down P.Manning? (1 Viewer)

I think they'll be lucky to keep him around his career average (v Jax) of 300 and 2 and that will only be if Addai takes over the game.

I can see a lower output. In the four most recent games (2005-2006), Manning is averaging just under 250 yards and has 5 combined TDs, and two are rushing TDs. So he's actually averaging less than one passing TD per game for the past four vs. Jacksonville.But the biggest reason I expect low numbers is that I need 2-3 TDs from Peyton to win my game in a league where I am snakebitten this year.

makes sense to me. Guess we can only expect 250 then. I hope half goes to Wayne and a little to Dallas Clark..Peyton on Monday night though usually means big things. He'll start off slow and toy with them for a while, then before you now it he's throw 2 TD's to Wayne and 1 to Marvin and the Colts have a 2 score lead.

Jax is very capable of slowing down Manning considerably. Not only because of their D, but because of Jax's ball-control O.

The Jags do about as good a job as anyone with Manning. Which certainly isn't saying they shut him down, but overall they've done a decent job limiting the damage.

Peyton vs Jaguars 2005 and 2006:

Indy 2006: 14/31 for 219 yards, 1 passing YD, 1 rushing, 0 INTS

@Jax 2006: 25/50 for 313 yards, 0 passing TDs, 1 rushing TD, 1 INT

Indy 2005: 13/28 for 122 yards, no TDs, 1 INT

@ Jax 2006: 26/45 for 324 yards, 2 passing TDs

I'm hoping Jax takes control of this game. I could use Clark and Addai to have limited roles tonight. :lmao:

:goodposting: Sounds familiar, too.

I second that, I need clark to not find the end zone tonight, and for Garrard to play terrible,
