Can Westbrook run and receive for 1000 yards each? (1 Viewer)

through 3 games, he's averaging 85 yards rushing and 55 yards receiving. Project that out over a full schedule and he's looking at 1360 on the ground and 880 receiving.

Anyone think he could keep this pace up and maybe get 1000 yards both ways? Has this ever even been done before? I would think maybe Faulk had some decent receiving years in STL, but I'm not sure if he ever got close to doing that.

I'm pretty sure Roger Craig did the 1000/1000 thing already, but still it's quite a feat.

ETA: yep, Craig did it in '85

Rush: 214/1050/9

Rec: 92/1016/6

I believe Faulk also did it in 1999. Health hasn't exactly been Westy's strong suit but he's such a good receiver it's possible if he can stay on the field...

As previously mentioned Faulk and Craig are the only two to do it.

1985 Roger Craig 1050 rushing, 1016 receiving

1999 Marshall Faulk 1381 rushing, 1048 receiving

A couple that were close were:

1998 Marshall Faulk 1319 rushing, 908 receiving

2002 Charlie Garner 962 rushing, 941 receiving

And Garner had 900/900 in 200...2?
