Scientists have taken a step towards one of the biggest goals in medicine - a universal blood test for cancer.

A team at Johns Hopkins University has trialled a method that detects eight common forms of the disease.

Google cancer blood test and tons of US based stories come up. Makes sense the BBC would consult with British experts being a British media source.

Yes.  I just can't stand cnn, fox, MSNBC, etc so my major news source is BBC.
