Cardinals at Vikings (1 Viewer)

"Last Play: 1-10-MIN 40 (5:57) C.Ponder pass incomplete to Unidentified."

That's 1 target now for Unidentified. He may be worth keeping an eye on for the WW this week.

Enjoying the Vikings using ADP as a receiver this season. His limitations as a pass catcher are grossly overstated. He does well enough that a few attempts per game are warranted.

Another attempt to Kyle Rudolph goes for naught.

Skelton is killing me. He has throws the deep ball very well but cannot hit tje 5-10 yd pass? As always the cards need a line and a qb. It was fun for the first few games.

Not sure what is going on with Ponder the last few games.. Seems to be regressing after starting the season off pretty good.. No idea why he thinks he has to force things..

Kolb >> Skelton.

One thing I like about Skelton is that he's throwing to Housler. Would love to see what he's capable of with consistent targets every week.

Saw a bit of an interview with him last week, and he said it was basically bad mechanics (notice most of these are happening when he is flushed or on the run.) I'd like to see him throw those out of bounds (he's been out of the pocket) but it is something they are aware of. I think it is a comfort thing - he got a bit comfortable and now it making throws he might have thought twice about when he wasn't comfortable. He needs to get a little less comfortable, or fix the mechanics that are leading to the really bad throws (i.e. the floaters.)

Impressive that they were able to win against a quality opponent with Ponder playing that poorly. 58 yards and 2 INTs is about as bad as it gets.

Can someone explain to me what happened with :14 left in the game??? The vikes lined up for the FG, then decided not to kick it? :tinfoilhat: ?

 No idea why they were even considering it.. You are up by 7, 14 seconds to go.. WTF does a FG do for you?? :tinfoilhat: Maybe Frasier had a side bet going on how many points they would win by but realized at the last second even attempting a FG there would be a dumb move.

Well it makes it a 2 score game. Not saying they should've kicked it, but see some sense if they did. (plus i had the Vikes -7)The chance it gets blocked and returned for a td isn't worth the risk. Did Arizona call a TO then they changed thier mind? How did the pulling of the FG unit transpire? Just curious.

Too long of a FG to risk missing it and giving them the ball with better field position. I thought it was the right call, especially with the way AD was running.
