Cardinals vs Bears 1pm PST (1 Viewer)

Cardinals outsmarting themselves running with the back up RB on 3rd and short.

Then Rosen throws the interception on 4th down.

3rd and 2 with the game on the line and you have to reach into the bag and pull out your best play. Let's run the 200 pound rookie RB up the gut.

Edmunds on 3rd down :lol:

Bradford has no business starting but to not involve David Johnson in the biggest play of the game to that point is unfathomable. They really should just cut bait entirely on Bradford and have Glennon backup Rosen. He never practiced fully in camp and predictably has looked completely overwhelmed 11 of 12 quarters this year. They even had to scale back the playbook this week for him.

Bradford has no shot to return in 2019. He'll be EXTREMELY lucky to finish 2018 in AZ. He's either going to be released or deactivated for Glennon very soon for the backup spot to Rosen. Just a matter of what week it happens.

If AZ didn't have any future plans with Glennon, 1) They wouldn't have signed him to multi-year deal and 2) Wouldn't have carried him on the 53 as 3rd QB.

Arizona took a shot with Bradford hoping to capture the veteran QB magic they did with Warner and Palmer. It hasn't worked out. He looks completely lost out there and is every bit as limited with the playbook as Rosen having practiced little during camp. Situation isn't much different than Cleveland. Waste of time playing vet QBs (playing in a new offense) ahead of highly drafted QBs. The vet QB are essentially rookies all over again. Really not a surprise they've fallen flat on their faces.

Was at the game yesterday and no question it's past time to move on from Bradford. Plays scared and waaaay too slow with little zip on his ball. He's already got his money from the Cards. He's entered David Carr territory. A guy that could have a long career as a clipboard holder but looks to have zero desire to actually play the game. It's a nice gig

:thumbup:

Wilks just named Rosen the starter. Rosen definitely has a ways to go but the right call. Let him take his lumps in the offense. No reason to delay what probably should have been done Week 1 had Rosen not gotten hurt. Bradford will be out the door soon. He looks done. I'm sure he'll get another chance if he wants to continue playing. Not sure he does...at least this year anyway. He's made a ####load of money and has had a ####load of injuries.

As expected, he's been moved to 3rd QB. Only matter of time before he's gone if he wants out / any chance to play.

@AdamSchefter

In one week, Sam Bradford is going from Cardinals' starting QB to No. 3, per source. Being No. 3 means Bradford won't be active today. And not being active means he loses an active roster bonus of $312,500 per game. But going forward, AZ QB depth chart is Rosen, Glennon, Bradford
