Carnell Williams dynasty value after injury (1 Viewer)

As someone who has owned him since day 1, I'd say it's possible I drop him this week and never look back. While there may be some remnant of trade value, I just don't care to waste time haggling for it. Someone else can pick him up and be disappointed.

Zip. Zero. Zilch. He needed to prove it this year to keep his value. Now he's out for the year. Unless you have a really deep league with an IR spot, I'd cut him. I think Tampa Bay won't look back and will use Graham and may get another RB in free agency or in the draft.

Remember when we used to argue for pages and pages about whether Caddy was injury prone or not? We may finally have our answer.

Droppable in dynasty leagues? Wow. I assume he would have some value. This type of injury in no way should reflect whether he is injury prone. Looked like a complete freak accident.

Buccaneers | C. Williams' injury potentially career-threatening

Sun, 30 Sep 2007 21:43:24 -0700

Jason Cole, of Yahoo! Sports, reports Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Cadillac Williams (knee) suffered a potentially career-threatening torn patellar tendon in his right leg Week 4, according to a source close to Williams. Williams is expected to see renowned orthopedic surgeon Dr. James Andrews Monday, Oct. 1, according to a member of Williams' family.

As a disappointed Caddy owner, I really don't see much long-term value for him. Even if he returns, it probably won't be well into next year, and who knows how much power and shiftiness he'll have lost.

Above all, given all his injuries, I don't think I'd want to depend on him going forward. I truly feel bad for the kid, but my squad is going to have to move on.
