Carolina DB question (1 Viewer)

Footballguy
Do Carolina CBs stick to one side each or do they stick to a WR?

If they stick to a WR, who gets Fitzgerald - Gamble or Marshall?

Thanks

i don't see anything that answers my question. sorry.
If you click on player participation and then click on Home O v Away D (depending on the game), it shows that Gamble plays almost exclusively at LCB and Marshall plays almost exclusively at RCB. This can be found for any player in just about any game. Kool-Aid Larry's link (profootballfocus.com)= when it comes to IDP questions.

choose week 6, let's say, and click 'player participation'

which gets you here http://profootballfocus.com/pstats.php?gameid=1475

this is carolina offense vs tb def, so toggle that by clicking 'home o vs away d' at bottom

this will show you which side each cb was on during each snap

51 100% DB 20 Chris Gamble LCB LCB LCB LCB LCB LCB LCB LCB LCB LCB.......

if you want to get crazy ambitious, you can also check out the arizona offense to see where fitz lines up.

I have Marshall and I expected a very solid year form him and many ranked him near the top; he was disappointing and I may make a move to upgrade; am I jumping ship too early? I feel like I will give him one more week against a passing team and see how he does

Thoughts from my column this week:Those looking for a glimmer of hope with Richard Marshall might find one in the strong spreadsheet work done by Larry Thomas in the IDP Matchup Sheet released every week. The Panthers' defense has faced the fewest pass attempts per game and allowed the fourth fewest pass completions per game through seven weeks. Unfortunately, Marshall hasn't been able to counter that trend with strong run support numbers, but Marshall's schedule (NO twice, ARI, MIN and strong opportunity matchups like NYG, ATL and MIA) looks ripe for a potential rebound.
